Someone had obviously spunked all our budget in the summer.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 26, 2022 5:52 pmI totally agree. Without Craig Clay we have no central midfield. That’s why I can’t understand our transfer business. Why no League 1 or Championship players were brought in beats me.gshaw wrote: ↑Sat Feb 26, 2022 5:02 pmIt wasn't great but now it's absolutely horrific. If Harrold is in charge on Tuesday think it's a gimme for Colchester.
I wouldn’t trust Ling to renew my Netflix subscription, never mind oversee a £3m wage bill.

I think Kenny had to go with the run we are on, but I don’t think the players were lacking effort for him. No offence to Matt, but we need a new voice in the dressing room. We can’t go on like this. That was really a terrible performance.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 26, 2022 7:07 pmMatt got a lot more effort out of the players today than Kenny did these last couple of monthstuffers#1 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 26, 2022 6:27 pmshould have been given today & the next 2 , but the moaning bully boys got to the board 1st !redintheface wrote: ↑Sat Feb 26, 2022 4:22 pm

What qualifies me? I have watched the team all season. Personally I don’t think they ever lack effort. I just think their confidence is shot. I assume Matt in his role as been doing his best to motivate the team. He’s picked the same players and played in the same way. Again they have lost producing a very poor performance and still no goals. I think they need a new voice and perspective in the dressing room. Desperate for a reset and refresh.tuffers#1 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 27, 2022 5:20 amwhat qualifies you to say that ?DrWindy wrote: ↑Sat Feb 26, 2022 11:27 pmI think Kenny had to go with the run we are on, but I don’t think the players were lacking effort for him. I don’t think lack of effort has ever really been an issue, at least not for most.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 26, 2022 7:07 pmMatt got a lot more effort out of the players today than Kenny did these last couple of monthstuffers#1 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 26, 2022 6:27 pmshould have been given today & the next 2 , but the moaning bully boys got to the board 1st !redintheface wrote: ↑Sat Feb 26, 2022 4:22 pm

Re: Exiles thread - Carlisle (H)
But how come we were doing pretty well up until early December when the wheels completely fell off? We scored something like 17 goals in 4 home games and then we played Crawley and it all went to ratshit. Ok, we had injuries but Smith and Drinan weren’t injured, their form just fell off a cliff. What happened there?Chocolate_brownie wrote: ↑Sun Feb 27, 2022 9:55 amLack of ability. I agree the new signings are laughably bad, and the board or whatever have to take full responsibly for that. Nouble, for f***’s sake.
I said before that there’s often a team that suffers a catastrophic drop in form and ends in a relegation dogfight. We are that team this year. It’s going to be a grim couple of months, and unless we can get someone vastly experienced who can motivate this pile of arse (and yeah, didn’t Jackett work out well?) then we’re going to be relegated.

Re: Exiles thread - Carlisle (H)
Agree that effort has not been the problem and yesterday I didn’t see anyone not giving 100%, as they were under Jackett, it’s just the quality isn’t there particularly with Coleman, Brown and the goal scoring machine that is Frank Nouble.
The best of the bunch is Khan but he’s wasted at RB.
No Ogie either yesterday, not sure why he was dropped and Reilly seems to have disappeared again.
Really not sure if this group are good enough to keep us up.

I think the lads are good enough to keep us up. I just think we need some fresh thinking. New tactics, different man management, new team talk. Freshen it up. Not Matt’s fault but it’s a big ask for him to turn it around. Crying out for a change.Cheshunto wrote: ↑Sun Feb 27, 2022 10:35 am Agree that effort has not been the problem and yesterday I didn’t see anyone not giving 100%, as they were under Jackett, it’s just the quality isn’t there particularly with Coleman, Brown and the goal scoring machine that is Frank Nouble.

Formed dipped (as it goes) + injuries to a couple of key players + god awful jan signings.Stowaway wrote: ↑Sun Feb 27, 2022 10:07 amBut how come we were doing pretty well up until early December when the wheels completely fell off? I think that the god awful jan signings is what has really done us in.
Form dip + injuries to key players can be fixed by decent jan signings. It wasn’t. And here we are.

If they throw members of the family out it splits & destroys the Family .
The Club Needs stability & the opportunity to

19 managers in 8 years shows we are not moving forward . To many want to destroy this club because of a
