Re: Exiles thread - Carlisle (H)
Bright first 5 mins, incredibly tame goal conceded, and now looking very jittery and pretty clueless on the ball. I’d eat my own head for a good centre midfielder to take this game by the scruff.

Khan the only player who seems capable of receiving the ball and moving forward with purpose. I don’t know what the point of Kyp and Coleman together is.

Re: Exiles thread - Carlisle (H)
Not really surprising it's s poor performance when we just throw a novice in at the deep end to take charge in such an important game.Stan1972 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 26, 2022 3:47 pm Our performances are getting worse!
The very worrying point is, we do not have the players to change the match, no midfield and sadly no subs to come on to improve the midfield.
We must be odds on to be relegated!
I am speechless and cannot watch anymore it’s so painful.
Re: Exiles thread - Carlisle (H)
If it's not working just do the simple things - keep sticking the ball in the box - anything can happen, as we saw with Pratley at Bradford.

Millwall in 1995/96 were top of the old second division at Christmas and ended up being relegated. The slump continued even after signing two highly rated players in Sergei Yuran and Vasili Kulkov.Mr. Peanutbutter wrote: ↑Sat Feb 26, 2022 3:38 pm After matchday 20 we were 7th, 31 points, second best goal difference in League Two. I genuinely can't recall seeing such a capitulation.

They’re not even worth that SF..Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Sat Feb 26, 2022 3:46 pm Even though it's mostly Jackett's fault I'd still give this lot a big f*** off booing at half time.

I love your external optimism tuffers, I hope you know that and that I hope that you are proven right. None of this will ever diminish my life long love affair with the O’s but I can’t see where a goal, let alone a win is coming from. 33 points won’t keep us up but I hope that when the season ends your optimism is proven correct and that I am badly wrong.tuffers#1 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 26, 2022 3:41 pmcol u losing & scunny & stevenage !Omygawd wrote: ↑Sat Feb 26, 2022 3:33 pm My goodness I hope I am wrong but on what I have seen so far today and in the previous 8 or 9 weeks it will be Scunny and us in the Conference next year and our squad would not get us back up either. We are so poor, no midfield, punchless up front. When does Teflon Ling have to stand up and be counted?

Re: Exiles thread - Carlisle (H)
I’m going to grit my teeth and hope somehow, and I honestly don’t know how, but somehow we can get an early goal and show some fight, instead of going through the motions, waiting to get beat.
10mins and if it’s still the same poor, gutless performance like the 1st half, I’m off to pub to watch the Rugby Eng v Wales.
I need to see players fighting for each other showing passion & pride in wearing the shirt.

Two yellows in two minutes for Archibald, straight after halftime
What a tw*t. That's the teamtalk right out the window.

Other teams have appointed swiftly of late, agree we need a quick appointment. We've eight games in March, all bar the trip to FGR should be games we'd expect to get something from under normal circumstances, we haven't got time for a lengthy recruitment process here.

Simply cannot see an equaliser coming from anywhere.
100% Carlisle are going to get another in a minute.

Makes the timing of Jackett’s dismissal all the more ridiculous imho.EastDerehamO wrote: ↑Sat Feb 26, 2022 4:20 pmOther teams have appointed swiftly of late, agree we need a quick appointment.
