Re: Orient v Bristol Rovers match thread
Reading the Bristol Rovers forum match thread and they talk about how their opener was against the run of play which partially suports this.

That’s partly true. But we did have Smyth and Kemp at various points.Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Tue Feb 22, 2022 10:15 pmBut we didn't have that creativity in the middle when we were doing well and scoring lots of goals either.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 22, 2022 10:14 pmWe was crying out for some creativity in central midfield to be brought in during the January transfer window. Nobody of that ilk was brought in. Now we’re paying for it. I still can’t believe we didn’t sign anybody like that.Ronnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Tue Feb 22, 2022 9:55 pm
Just look at that group of 16 players.
Surely everyone knew we were going to lose tonight with that line up? It’s just not good enough for this level. There’s no creativity in there whatsoever. We’re not going to make chances, we’re not going to score goals, we’re not going to pick up points. It doesn’t matter who the manager is, no one is going to get anything out of that side. And it’s not as if there are any obvious changes you can make to the starting 11.
The question to ask is how did we get to this position.

I just feel a bit sorry for the players
Young is a kid and nowhere near ready for a team that is struggling
Khan looks a good footballer and winger but is not a right back
Pratley god bless at times was the furthest player forward, he looked knackered and averages a goal about every 30 games
Ruel is a poor footballer but can score goals but was playing as a winger
Jackett has just lost the plot, there is more than enough there to get results at different points

Some people state the 'oh so obvious'. Of course it wouldn't make any difference, right here and now, if the Dof was given the boot, say, tomorrow. But Ling was the wrong move from the very beginning. You have to dig out the root of the problem. Of course he's been a big influence at what goes on out on the pitch. KJ put up with it because Mr Travis most generously dangled a big carrot in front of him. I don't wish for anyone to lose their job but if Jackett goes, Ling, most certainly should go too.

Ling should go. But the reason "some people" (care to name names?) state the obvious is because other people can't see the forest for the trees. Was Jackett a poor appointment at the time he came in? Of course not. Were fans complaining about Ling's role in appointing him back then? No. Was Jackett responsible for his own demise? Clearly.Chief crazy horse wrote: ↑Tue Feb 22, 2022 10:47 pm Some people state the 'oh so obvious'. Interested in your evidence for Jackett putting up with influence from others on the pitch given it's contrary to everything we've heard from the club. And also the fact he brought in his own assistant to delegate his training/tactical plans to, creating an additional barrier to this alleged influence.

I remember the interview - he was totally hesitant in wanting the job
The forced him him to change his mind hoping to save money on a new managers salary - as he was on the payroll
Ling confirmed all our beliefs on that horrid appointment in the last interview a few days ago
But then Ling lied re the time KL had - so Lings word is useless and untrustworthy- Fletcher was correct in his Bournemouth news paper article months later - the people at this club some cannot be trusted - I assume that was aimed at Sherlock Ling the private investigator

You say 'other people can't see the forest for the trees'. Like you asking for 'evidence' about KJ and ML interference. No, I cannot produce any covert operations between the two...
Your comebacks are so ridiculous.

Speaking of ridiculous comebacks, nobody was asking for you to produce covert operations between the two - that's you putting up a straw man - just some actual evidence since everything that has been publicly stated points to the opposite. Do you have anything sensible or intelligent that you could raise instead?Chief crazy horse wrote: ↑Wed Feb 23, 2022 9:26 amYou say 'other people can't see the forest for the trees'. Re: Orient v Bristol Rovers match thread
Unless you're a bit slow you would know that you cannot always produce actual evidence. It's called reading between the lines. Summing up snippets of information etc. Also, you pin point certain boarders (and you talk about me following you!) why do you think this and why do you think that, instead of just accepting it's just another opinion. Of course one of the classics of yours is, and nearly always directed at the same people.. 'oh you're sh---ing your pants again', or wetting pants and brain farts etc, and you talk about intelligence! All this, because someone may have predicted a defeat for some reason or another.Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Wed Feb 23, 2022 10:15 amSpeaking of ridiculous comebacks, nobody was asking for you to produce covert operations between the two - that's you putting up a straw man - just some actual evidence since everything that has been publicly stated points to the opposite. Anyway, there's much more important things going on at the moment than to pursue this any further. But the only thing is I can't guarantee that I won't reply to one of your posts again? You see, although I find some of them silly they are also quite amusing.
