Martin Ling isn’t to blame . The blame lays squarely on the shoulders of Kenny and our misfiring players

We still have to play those teams below us . On current form any of them beat us .We can’t even score a goal.corkeireorient wrote: ↑Tue Feb 22, 2022 9:24 pm we are now relying on other teams to save us from the NL

Re: Orient v Bristol Rovers match thread
Just look at that group of 16 players.
Surely everyone knew we were going to lose tonight with that line up? It’s just not good enough for this level. There’s no creativity in there whatsoever. We’re not going to make chances, we’re not going to score goals, we’re not going to pick up points. It doesn’t matter who the manager is, no one is going to get anything out of that side. And it’s not as if there are any obvious changes you can make to the starting 11.
The question to ask is how did we get to this position.

Re: Orient v Bristol Rovers match thread
You could bring in Wood for Young and put Archibald further forward. You could play a four at the back with Khan further forward, or even just put Khan further forward with Moss where he was. That adds creativity. You could have Smith in for Soitiriou to increase goal threat. So there were options to be more creative.Ronnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Tue Feb 22, 2022 9:55 pmJust look at that group of 16 players.

While the squad isn't great, there were at least some options to address the creativity issue open to us.

Re: Orient v Bristol Rovers match thread
We was crying out for some creativity in central midfield to be brought in during the January transfer window. Nobody of that ilk was brought in. Now we’re paying for it. I still can’t believe we didn’t sign anybody like that.Ronnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Tue Feb 22, 2022 9:55 pmJust look at that group of 16 players.

But we didn't have that creativity in the middle when we were doing well and scoring lots of goals either.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 22, 2022 10:14 pmWe was crying out for some creativity in central midfield to be brought in during the January transfer window. That’s a cold hard fact that would get virtually every manager the sack.

We had it on the right with James and Archibald on the left. Also Craig Clay working his socks off in the middle. Take James and Clay out of the team and we’ve fallen apart

Fact is though we did create chances tonight but our strikers have totally lost their confidenceRedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 22, 2022 10:18 pmSmendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Tue Feb 22, 2022 10:15 pmBut we didn't have that creativity in the middle when we were doing well and scoring lots of goals either.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 22, 2022 10:14 pm

Sotoriou squandered two or three in the first half alone

I DO because the half wits started destroying this club after Ross 1st game in charge , calling for him to be sacked .Anthem of Hope wrote: ↑Tue Feb 22, 2022 10:11 pmBe ashamed who cares I don’ttuffers#1 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 22, 2022 10:06 pmpoppycock , whimpering fools who believe in soft fluffy clouds & honey ! Re: Orient v Bristol Rovers match thread
Moss isn’t up to it. Khan isn’t a winger. Smith has been under par for a while. The only one I’d possibly agree with is Wood but he’s not a wing back. The idea with the 3 at the back is it allows Archibald and Khan to get forward and support the from 4 players, making us more creative.Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Tue Feb 22, 2022 10:03 pmYou could bring in Wood for Young and put Archibald further forward. Either way, we’re just pissing around at the edges. Our recruitment has been woeful this January, that’s the issue. And I blame Ling for that.
