I saw that years ago
Didn't know it was still showing
Yep. Even after London is nothing but a post-nuclear wasteland, this will still be showing. This will be our legacy to a future civilisation.

I'm watching Trigger Point. It's no Line of Duty.
Basically a poor BBC drama with adverts.

Is that This Is Going To Hurt? Agree that it's brilliant. I'm also two episode in.

I have a very long car journey to make at the end of this week, so I have bought the audio book of that to pass some of the time.

I've been watching Bates Motel - now up to season 3 I think - and I quite like it.

Homestead Rescue.

They have taken the bold step of increasing the episodes to two hours instead of one. It doesn't work and the editing is terrible.

Last night we had yet another military vet in Georgia showing us just how stupid he is and was begging the Raineys to help him or he would have to take a "security job" overseas to keep things together. I think he probably kills people or something although they said it was close protection but I think we all know by now what that means.

Last night Martys white shirt that he only half wears and his stetson got splashed with mud. In the summary of how much the project he was working on cost they included Dollars 51 for the dry cleaning of the shirt and hat. Nice touch but my interest had faded long before then.

There are apparently 6 different types of poison snecks in Georgia and loads of alligators but disappointingly nobody was bitten. Not even a little nip. Ruined the show for me.

Yes. Don’t usually watch much tv but thought I’d give this a go and been pleasantly surprised.

Have also started the Anna Delvey one on Netflix which is bonkers but also good, in a totally different way.

The Power of The Dog- man despises his sister in law, even though she is Kirsten Dunst. Takes the pee out of her poor piano playing skills so much that she turns to drink. 6/10

Does the drinking aid her piano playing?

Found The Power of the Dog pretentious - a slow pace is not always a virtue.

It was just a bit boring, I was expecting more of a Cape Fear vibe.

About thirty minutes into the film, Raging Bull, seen it before but I still admire the simplicity and brutality of this biopic.
Robert Di Niro is worth every ounce of the Oscar he won for this film.

Watched a few TV drama series recently to get thru the grimmer winter evenings. Scores on the doors:

This Is Going To Hurt(BBC).Really liked the Shruti SHO character. Great performance from someone who’s only done stand-up comedy before 5/5
Trigger Point(ITV).It’s alright. But a Jed Mercurio type job, with coppers acting more like soldiers to save London from terrorists. Bit OTT. 3/5
No Return(ITV). Sheridan Smith’s in it, so not awful. But not great either. Lad get’s accused of sexual assault on holiday in Turkey. Mum get’s on the case to try save him from Midnight Express style nightmare 3/5
The Responder(BBC). Felt like a more realistic police drama. Gritty. Martin Freeman as the burnt out plod does his usual side glances. Had to put the subtitles on cos of the thick Scouse accents 4/5
ChloeBBC. Good performance from that one who was Princess Anne in The Crown. Bit far-fetched as she took on a new identity to investigate the unexpected death of an old chum. 4/5
Four LivesBBC. Stephen Marchant is believable as a creepy serial-killing perv who knocks off young lads in Barking, whilst plod mess up. Based on true story. Sheridan Smith again, doing similar role to above. 4/5

All still on the ‘terrestrial’ streaming services.

I just watched episode 6 of This Is Going To Hurt.

That packed quite a punch. The kind of punch that you continue to feel long after the episode has finished. It did hurt.

Finally getting round to Grayson Perrys Art Club and think it may be one of the best things I’ve ever seen. A few episodes had me in tears!

What did you think? Still got an episode left but felt like they blew the budget on the actors rather than the writers!

I found it quite funny, last couple of episodes dipped though.

The Carmen song gave me my first laugh out loud tv moment of the year.

Considered 'Russ Nightlife' as my latest username.

I was considering Jack Halloween but was waiting until late October to bring it to life.
