Donuts
I can't help thinking that when Nigel was head honcho at Dunkin Donuts etc., he must have tracked all the numbers in the business - sales and profit per branch, margin, staff turnover the lot - because that's how you make money out of fast food. So I thought I'd look at the numbers since he bought Orient.
As of today, we are at 203 league games and 285 points, so 1.4 points a game. That is very ordinary - about mid table. But for a season and a half we had Justin in charge and we all know that he transformed the team AND got the best out of two forwards who were much too good for the Conference. JE averaged 1.83 points a game.
So without JE - that is solely with the benefit of the excellent players and outstanding managers that our DoF has recruited - Orient have played 133 games for 157 points, which is 1.18 points a game. That - across the equivalent of three seasons - is absolute pants (I believe I'm not allowed to say anything stronger on this board?). If we get nothing out of Bristol Rovers and Carlisle it will be back to Solihull Moors again and that wonderful, amazing season three years ago will all have been for nothing.
So come on Nigel, I don't care if they are all your mates and very hardworking etc - it's time to change the process because whatever DoF and his crew have been doing all this time - IT IS NOT WORKING!

Re: Donuts
Does your analysis take any account of the relative strength of the opposition faced by the managers being compared?

Re: Donuts
A great bit of analysis
lets take out anything positive and then claim the remainder is proof things are not positive
Lets even ignore the fact we are blaming someone for things that are not their responsibility

Re: Donuts
We averaged marginally less than a point per game in the first 22 games after relegation to the NL and immediately before Edinburgh came in. Davis was the worst of the lot by that metric yet, like Jackett, had the proven manager label attached that some of our fans obsess about.
