Forget drawing , we've got to start winning or its National League football for us again next season.Orient Punxx wrote: ↑Sat Feb 19, 2022 4:35 pm Time to wake up and smell the coffee. We’re fucxxed at this rate.

No no no - baby steps. We’re so shitte now a point is worth playing for. Nice to see Oldham and Walsall taking it serious though.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 19, 2022 4:47 pmForget drawing , we've got to start winning or its National League football for us again next season.Orient Punxx wrote: ↑Sat Feb 19, 2022 4:35 pm Time to wake up and smell the coffee. A point in the next 2 games won’t be a disaster. Hard to know how many points we need to stay up but really would be good to become a drawing team again.

Re: Looking at the scores
Stevenage , Carlisle Colchester and Scunthorpe all teams below us lost. Games against Carlisle ,Colchester and Stevenage in the next few weeks are going to be crucial. Win 13 of our 17 games could put us in the play- offs. Somebody has just woken me up from a dream.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 19, 2022 4:57 pmTrue but so are we.tuffers#1 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 19, 2022 4:52 pmCarlisle are awful .corkeireorient wrote: ↑Sat Feb 19, 2022 4:49 pm I'm thinking Stevenage might be " our saving grace " !

Speaks someone who surely therefore hasn’t seen us play over the last month. Playing for a 0-0 isn’t to do with confidence. A month ago I might have agreed but the last month has been atrocious. We have relegation written all over us.

Re: Looking at the scores
The benchmark for survival is usually around about 52 points . We need another 19 to 20 points but i'm not confident we can get them.Orient Punxx wrote: ↑Sat Feb 19, 2022 5:01 pmNo no no - baby steps. We’re so shitte now a point is worth playing for. I agree . The way we played against Colchester and then Salford in the second half is worrying .kokomO wrote: ↑Sat Feb 19, 2022 5:25 pmSpeaks someone who surely therefore hasn’t seen us play over the last month. When we were winning for fun everyone was bang at it
We need 1 win & we will be bang at it again
Re: Looking at the scores
If we drew every game left, we'd reach safety easily, however we wont draw every game
It's going to be tight at the end, and to those who say no need to worry, i wish i had your confidence, because I cant see any signs to give me confidence

I have confidence in Tuffers ability to give me confidence that we will have the confidence to keep believing we will stay up with confidence, if we do stay up I'll have the confidence to take Tuffers off my foe listtuffers#1 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 19, 2022 6:06 pmOf course its Confidence

Re: Looking at the scores
It’s all very well looking at those around us, but the fact is we’re as bad as any of them, if not worse. Could you see us winning like Oldham or Walsall did today? I couldn’t. Reality is that we’re dropping down the table and confidence is shot. We play Rovers on Tuesday, at home where’s there’s always more pressure. Rovers won 4-0 away today.
The Carlisle and Colchester games will be absolutely crucial. Anything less than 3 points from those two will be a disaster.

Re: Looking at the scores
Mate of mine is a Stevenage season ticket holder and he said how they’ve improved under Tisdale.
However he said Bristol Rovers totally outplayed them today and looked excellent.
Tuesday night is gonna be tough.

Agreed, it’s the total lack of goals, and how we simply gave up after Salford scored last week.Orient Punxx wrote: ↑Sat Feb 19, 2022 8:09 pm We’re going down, unless we take this seriously now. Trouble is how do u motivate this lot of total crud (defence excepted).

Re: Looking at the scores
When we were originally supposed to play Bristol Rovers, they were in a terrible state, and we were playing well. Now it's completely reversed.
Will be tough game for us on Tuesday

Re: Looking at the scores
Fair play to them - they identified that they were in trouble and regrouped (turned the coach around) accordingly. If ever we didn’t need a postponement, it was today. Win, lose or draw, there’s even more pressure on now. Time to step up and recognise that Rovers did one on us on New Years Day and show some fight on Tuesday. We need to turn this round now, otherwise things are going to slip away very fast.
