arsenal have bid £40 million.
think he only scored 10 goals last season for palace
they rate him £80 mil over priced me thinks. probably worth around £30 to £35 mil if you ask me.
I think he is just an OK player certainly not worth anything like £80mil.
There are statistics that say when Zaha plays Palace pick up points; when he's missing they pick up very few. He's under contract for a few years yet and so from a Palace perspective he's worth the sort of number's they are quoting. Certainly you could not replace his worth to the side for the £30-35 million you suggested.
Manchester United paid £10-15 million in 2013 and sold him back for £3-6 million 2 years later. Only played 2 games for them. I suspect Ferguson decided he wasn’t going to be good enough. Not sure he has got that much better in last 4 years, not £80 million worth.

Fergie wasn't his manager Moyes was. It was alleged that he shagged his daughter hence why he never played.
Manchester United get 25% of the amount palace get if/when zaha is sold more than making up for the loss they made on him by buying and selling back. Also would explain why palace want to get as much as they can for him.

Really? Have you even seen him in the last 2 years?

Is he an £80m player now?
Did I say he was? I just completely disagree that he hasn't got much better in the last 4 years when he's probably progressed most as a footballer over the last 2-3 seasons and become one of the best players outside the top 6

You highlighted the first half of my sentence and conveniently ignored the second half.

I reckon they settle around the £65million mark. No way can I see him going for £80m

See the difference, we have a player others want, we sell cheap. Palace have a player others want, they sell high.
Maybe the people running palace are better negotiators?
Totally different situation though. There's no comparison.
Arsenal’s budget is around £40m according to press reports. Palace have turned down the opening bid of £40m as again reported they want double that amount. Apparently the club has gone back to the owner to ask for more money as the want a left back, a centre back, Zaha and one other.
It must be hard being an Gunner and watching other clubs leave you behind. You would have to ask where’s the money gone?

Into the pockets of the players mostly. Ozil, Mkhitaryan, Kolasinac, Aubamayang, Lacazette and Xhaka cost the club well over £1m/week. Total wage bill is about half what Tottenham pay. Highest price tickets to boot. And £100 home shirts for sale in the club shop. Premier League madness.
