Legit surprised we got someone with the track record and reputation of Jackett. Couldn't have made a better appointment really.
Agree.
Great appointment, hope it all goes well for him and us.
Welcome Kenny
Up the O's
Long term supporter here (early 90s) but this is only my third post and first in six years.
If the owners/board read this post, I would just like to say.... 'Thank you'.
The appointment of Kenny certainly does make a statement and has prompted me to write this.
I've been thoroughly impressed with the owners/board's transparency and communication with the fans since they took over. It sends a good message. Of the list of possible applicants I did feel Kenny was the most desirable but also the most expensive. I hear it's a year rolling contract, I guess that's a benefit to both parties. I would feel more secure with a solid, two-year contract, for psychological reasoning, however I shall not complain. On paper, Kenny is the most experienced and, of course, it could go t*ts up, but as a starting point it's a very messaging appointment by LOFC. It'll be interesting on the players he attracts.
I live a two-hour drive away and only make 2 home games and 1 away game a season on average. As a result of this appointment, I do intend to attend 10-12 games a season, purchasing single tickets rather than a season ticket, to just contribute to the forward progression this appointment brings.
Up the O's.

I think you will find my post was pure sarcasm which should not be mistaken for an endorsement of this appointment.
I can’t help thinking he didn’t really want one or two players we’ve signed during the transfer window. Anyway tuffers , purely out of curiosity if things don’t improve how many more games would you give Kenny?

I think we were all delighted when we hired Kenny because of his track record in the past. The problem is it’s a results based business. I’ll add I feel the transfer committee have also let him downs. Apart from maybe Khan , we didn’t sign any League One ready players and we’re now paying for it
