It's amazing how it's gone THIS wrong in a few months.
We looked a real good team in August, September, October etc. How can we be such crap now?

We don’t have a game plan
We don’t have a manager who can motivate players
We don’t have players who want to play for manager
We don’t have a midfield
We sing have any creativity
We don’t have any confidence
We don’t have a clue what to do when we have the ball
We are F#*@ing Clueless
We are embarrassing
We are in a relegation fight

As said at the time you can get away with a threadbare squad in the early months, there's an element of surprise with the new players coming in etc.

Once you get to dark cold November and December with cup games etc. to be played it takes a toll on your first team and you need to call on your strength and depth in the squad. We had neither due to the obsession with putting academy players in where pros should be.

Now we've lost all momentum and instead of quality coming in to pick the pace back up you've got lost kids with no experience to call on being brought in to carry the side. Jackett now using that as the excuse in his post match interview, well the answer is in the recruitment strategy of playing them in the first place.

I honestly do not see how the team will change and turn this around, if you do not have any creative players you don't create chances, if you don’t have chances, you don’t score goals, if you don’t score goals, you don't win games.
This team will end up in NL, we are 11 points clear of relegation with 19 games still to play.

How will Reilly get match fit if we don't give him game time? Could have given him 20 minutes, he can't be any worse than what was on the pitch

You're right on every point. What's a complete mystery to me is why didn't we sign any creative midfielder or sign any other players on loan from higher up .Somebody told me at HT that this is what Colchester and Stevenage did and now both should finish comfortable above us . Make no mistake, after what I saw today we've got relegation written all over us . We've stopped scoring and we're either drawing or losing games . They are the type of stats that can see us ending up in a relegation battle .

Our season is over . All we have to play for now is to stay clear of any relegation trouble which going by today is going to be very difficult .

Easy, 19 games to go and we need 17 draws, what's the problem? 😱😱

Only positive for me is Matt Young. Not seen him before but looks like he’s got an eye for a pass despite being pushed out to the right then the left

I know it’s not his fault he was picked and I know it’s not his fault he was played left wing for 70 minutes, but he looked like a little boy lost for most of the game.

Apart from the two corners he took that had a bit of quality, one straight onto Drinans (?) head and the 3 through balls second half, one that lead to drinan clean through on goal, I agree, created nothing.

I agree it is that simple but it doesn’t seem that obvious to the club and now we’re paying for it

We were dire - again. Even in season 14/15 (relegation to L2) I don't remember us being that dire.

We certainly played better with the youngsters in the last games of the mad-Italian era

Injuries have taken the heart out of our team. long term injuries

PAUL SMYTH out for the rest of the season, after missing about 90% of previous games. He's probably the most skilful player on the books, virtually missed the whole season. Imagine if he'd played in every game

TOM JAMES Best signing of all in many years, plays about 50% of the season, now out for the rest of the season, and may well never play for us again, seeing as he only signed a one year contract

CALLUM REILLY Wer'e now in February, and hes finally just made it on the bench. He'll be rusty as hell for weeks. We wont see how good he is until the last few games

THEO ARCHIBALD was fantastic for us in Aug, Sept, Oct Nov, and now nothing. Constantly ill or injured. another we have missed so much

CRAIG CLAY Another who will be out untill next season. The best midfielder we have.....how we've missed him

That's five long term injuries that have decimated the team. Any team would have suffered if those five were missing for half the season or more

Spoke to Tom James in a coffee shop before the game yesterday , he said he hoped to be back for the last few games of the season, Connor Wood who was with him declined to comment on why he wasn't in the squad 🤔

Injuries to key players , covid related issues and a poor January transfer window .

When Clay is your best CM you know recruitment is bad. He's a squad player for a side chasing the top 3, if you need proof of that watch every game where Ebou Adams gives him the runaround.

James, unfortunate but that's why you have a cover RB in the squad, however in infinite wisdom didn't get one in over summer then signed a youth player who's been playing NL and wonder why they aren't up to scratch.

As for Reilly whoever picked an injured player as a key midfield signing needs sacking from the transfer committee with immediate effect, has been a total waste of a wage.

Lastly Archibald, a player who was ripping up the league early on and has had his attacking edge blunted by being given the same treatment Brophy did last season. That one I really can't fathom.
