Re: If Martin Ling Sees This Will He Sign Me?
PW:- Oh the irony, i got tangled up with my dog, slipped on ice and landed on my right knee. Walked home. Thought I'd better take it easy and pain got worse & worse. Called an ambulance at 9.30, they told me to clear off. Despite the fact I live alone & got nobody to take me to A&E. 2.30 I called 111 & they got a medic on the phone. She said she would call an ambulance. Waited 8 hours for the ambulance. Doctor at A&E was gobsmacked that I was walking around with a broken knee cap. Spent a week in Basildon & Brentwood Hospitals. Sometimes it don't pay to be 'ard!

So you had a broken kneecap and the emergency services ( ambulance) told you to clear off . That’s great isn’t it. Anyway speedy recovery Clive.

Sorry to hear that, wish you a speedy recovery. No public transport options to get to the hospital (not that you really want to on a broken knee cap)?Clive Evans wrote: ↑Thu Jan 27, 2022 10:05 pm PW:- Oh the irony, i got tangled up with my dog, slipped on ice and landed on my right knee. Given Ling thought McGleish's legs had gone two years before he returned here for his glorious Indian Summer, I'd say it's a long shot
Mind you, he did bring in Phil Mulryne, about five years after he stopped being a footballer...

All the best, sorry to hear about your mishap but I too am a tad concerned that this may disbar you from a 2 year contract at Brissie.
