Re: Tory Watch
Probably. One of those that are all about fudge and bending definitions.
Quite incredible how this now seems to be the norm for Tory control of this country.
There is now a long list of "enquiries" - will they ever get round to the big one, namely the government's response to the COVID pandemic?

Re: Tory Watch
Also interesting to note how one of those 'enquiries' conducted by the 'Parliamentary commissioner for Standards' has just announced her judgement about John Bercow. Bercow's analysis is quite telling and having read all 435 pages of his autobiography I am more inclined to believe him to be more truthful and credible.

The message to Tory MPs seems to be that "do as we demand or we will destroy you" and this is something that several Tory MPs have now hinted at.
Us minions would expect THE SPEAKER to have an authority and commitment to uphold the law and the democratic principle of parliament ---- but it seems that the Tory rulers of parliament just want a patsy.
Just WHO will be strong enough and sufficiently principled to stand up against all of that? Anyone ???

At next PMQs the entire opposition benches should stand up as he enters the chamber and all sing Happy Birthday.

Re: Tory Watch
MPS investigating now and the Sue Gray report, due out this week, won't now be released until the criminal enquiry has concluded.

Re: Tory Watch
Given this is now a criminal investigation, presumably Sue Gray is unable to discuss the case further and release her findings. You Boris Bashers need to get off his back.

Bring back Betty Boothroyd! Even at 92 she could probably still handle the current shower.E10EU wrote: ↑Tue Jan 25, 2022 1:56 am Also interesting to note how one of those 'enquiries' conducted by the 'Parliamentary commissioner for Standards' has just announced her judgement about John Bercow. To determine how good it was. Best vaccination and booster programme in Europe , best financial help package in Europe , 1st country to emerge from the pandemic. It’s not all bad.E10EU wrote: ↑Tue Jan 25, 2022 1:14 amProbably. One of those that are all about fudge and bending definitions.

^ If the photos aren't of Johnson, absolutely hammered, while doing the conga in his underpants, then I want my money back.

Daily Mail will led tomorrow with Starmer being timed washing his hands and only doing one round of the first verse"God Save The Queen" rather than the two required.

Millions of genuine claimants excluded for falling through various cracks/gaping chasms in the system.
Billions upon billions stolen through fraudulent claims.
It’s been a right proper sh*t show.
