Lol.

It's a good step. The amount of money they usually charge for water is a joke as well.

Shame that today there will be tents left and rubbish everywhere for them to clean up.

There are hundreds of standpipes at Pilton and the water is good to drink why would you pay for it?
Glastonbury is trying to catch up with Bestival Shambala who’ve had no plastic bottle policy for a few years now I don’t know why they are being handclapped for this

As somebody said already the amounts of tents other plastic rubbish, human waste etc usually in carrier bags this takes about 6 weeks to clear
The last operational bill was almost a million quid
Environmental impact reports seem to get buried with the rest of the sh*t

Nobody said it would be plastic free just that single use plastics would be dramatically reduced.

Yoof leading the way?
How did you come to that assumption?

Have you seen all the plastic left behind? It’s an absolute disgrace that people can behave like that in a modern society. Where are the litter police handing out fines when and where it was required. Shameful.

Imagine what it would have been like without the water bottle ban then.

Err they left them all behind, look at the pictures. But, yes it would have been worse, still they have approached this like a kite in the wind.

Is Farmer Eavis pressing charges? More likely to be still counting his pennies.

All profits to charity, what’s not to like? He’s raised millions down the years, this should be celebrated not knocked.

Clearly didn't apply to Janet Jackson.
Quite enjoyed it this year- its a good way to spot some new bands that I wouldn't normally see or hear.
Couldn't help thinking that the wrong singers were singing all my favourites- Johnny Marr instead of Morrissey and Noel instead of Liam Brandon instead of Morrissey etc.
