I think there should be a by election anyway when someone defects. The voters of Bury South did not vote Labour, but now have a Labour MP

Momentum have this one right.
It’s embarrassing that he’s been welcomed as he has and says everything about Starmers ‘politics’.

Blimey. I can only imagine how furious you lot will be should Labour ever beat the Tories in a general election.

Can't wait for the likes of Anna Soubry and that Change bunch of chancers to declare their love for Starmer's brand of Labour...
Don't get me wrong, anything but the current Tories (and their Faragist mates) would be better than this lot, but you'd be a fool to think Starmer will deliver anything that will upset or challenge the current set-up.

Soubry et al were more akin to Blair’s brand of Labour. Wakeford is a horrible poo poo who, without Brexit, would have been tarred and feathered if he’d shown his face and blue rosette in Bury before 2019. If I was a constituent I’d be kicking the town hall door down demanding a by-election.

Re: Labour Watch
So you agree on negative voting. People voting for Boris only because the alternative was worse. That’s exactly why Boris got in. Don’t blame Voters for the current shambles. Blame Corbyn.slacker wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 4:23 pm Can't wait for the likes of Anna Soubry and that Change bunch of chancers to declare their love for Starmer's brand of Labour...

My party. I don’t have a party. And my views that all parties have their share of shits remains intact.Clive Evans wrote: ↑Fri Feb 04, 2022 4:03 pm Dohnut said:- Perv Ahmed gets 5 years

Re: Labour Watch
Doh :- If that is your true & honest opinion, why did you deem it worthy to post about Perv Ahmed on the Labour thread? Surely that would be incongruous. All Parties must have a fair share of: Pervs, Murderers, Cheats, Womanisers, Mobsters, Alcoholics etc Oh! & Liars , although some seem to fair a bit better than others.

Re: Labour Watch
Where else post about a Labour peer but on a Labour thread. And I don’t have a party. Used to be strong Labour from a strong Labour background. Now I vote for the leader who I believe best suited to the job. Voted for Thatcher, voted for Blair. Voted for Boris as the least worst candidate, despite the fact I dislike the guy with a passion.Clive Evans wrote: ↑Fri Feb 04, 2022 4:21 pm Doh :- If that is your true & honest opinion, why did you deem it worthy to post about Perv Ahmed on the Labour thread? It’s people like me whose votes change Governments. Not those who vote red or blue for no real reason other than that’s what they do.
I’ve always said both parties have their share of baddies. And I want Boris to go - pronto.

What court cases?Ronnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Fri Feb 11, 2022 3:01 pm Pretty sure the reason they’re bankrupt is because of Corbyns court cases.
Labour are broke because 200,000 members left, and they not paying a subscription any more, plus 2 unions not giving Labour any funds now, because they have left their working class roots.
A general election now, would finish Labour off financially
They would lose it too, despite Johnson and his unpopularity.
Starmer is a liability
