Obviously not remotely comparable to the stuff coming out from government.

During his BBC interview, Sir Keir also said a picture of him drinking beer in an office last spring did not show a breach of Covid rules in place at the time.
The Labour leader said the picture, which first emerged last year, showed him in a constituency office in the run-up to the Hartlepool by-election.
"We were very busy. We were working in the office," he told presenter Sophie Raworth when challenged about the image.
"We stopped for something to eat and then we carried on working. No party, no breach of the rules and absolutely no comparison with the prime minister."

Re: Labour Watch
Sir Kier has cleared it all up, they'd been working really really hard, a takeaway turned up and they stopped to eat it. No mention of beer, despite him having a bottle in his hand.

He has the look of an innocent man about him and someone who would never mislead just to get elected into a position of influence. Case closed.

Re: Labour Watch
Being busy, a working day, nothing wrong with having a beer and food. Nothing.
I’ve been droning on about it not being unusual for alcohol to be present during a working meeting. Now confirmed once and for all by Starmer. Combining a working meeting with a glass of booze happens, commonplace.
The issue with Boris and his work events was not the existence of booze but whether the gatherings broke Covid regulations.

So he was working with his team in preparation of a bye-election. Boris was working with his team running the country. Re: Labour Watch
Completely correct. Except that Boris wasn't working with his team. Nobody (except you it seems) believes that Boris was in a working meeting. He was at a party, as described by the email invite. There really is no comparison to what Starmer was doing. It's reaching at very best by Tory sycophants to try and compare Boris & chums organising parties, for up to 100 people, and Starmer having a beer whilst working.Dohnut wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 12:30 pmSo he was working with his team in preparation of a bye-election. Re: Labour Watch
Let me help you here. When the Government confirmed that last year's local elections were going ahead, the rules were amended to allow campaigning etc. Starmer was campaigning with about half a dozen locals in the north of England and ordered a Pizza and had it delivered to the local office as restaurants etc where closed at the time. He had a beer with his, he could have had a coke of course. They could have all brought a packed lunch, but they didn't. However everything with this "story" was well within the rules.Dohnut wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 12:30 pmSo he was working with his team in preparation of a bye-election. The Sun ran this story back in April last year but it didn't fly at the time. Now the Daily Mail have put it out again as they couldn't find anything else on Starmer to deflect the mountain of stuff on Johnson.

Please, for the sake of all your mental faculties, do not engage with Dohnut / Maffy's contrarian bollocks. He's nothing more than an utter bell-end who hates fat people, poor people, or even worse, poor and overweight people who use foodbanks.

I appreciate the sentiment - thanks. However, it only takes about 10% of my mental faculties, at most, to rubbish his posts. It's a no (10%) brainer!

I suppose they have a point. I think there should be a by election anyway when someone defects. The voters of Bury South did not vote Labour, but now have a Labour MP

Re: Labour Watch
Christian Wakeford is 'using' the Labour party to attack Boris Johnson. He isnt a socialist in any way or form.
The opening line of the Labour Party constitution reads " The Labour Party is a democratic Socialist party........."
If this clown can feel at home in Starmers Labour, it shows how right wing Labour has become

And rightly so. He’s a horrible right-wing flag-shagging cuntlord. I don’t want him in the Party either.
