Hes let money overrule his head which has allowed a spy to have a hold over him. Ok we should just say no worries carry on.
He needs to resign simple as.
Do you think she walked into his office and said “Hello, I’m a Chinese spy and would like to buy some influence?”
Having said that, Gapes is a bit of a tw*t anyway.

So the jellyfish has been caught drinking beer among others whilst we were under lockdown. The man is a first class hypocrite. I also note that the boarders on here have chosen to ignore this hypocrite and actions. Very sad times.
Starmer needs to resign over this issue, the odious toad.
It throws up the whole issue of how our democracy can be paid for by private and foreign interests. Whether it's the Chinese trying to buy political influence through, erm, Barry Gardner ( ), or the Russians and Saudis doing the same with Tory MPs. And the same with corporate donations. Money compromises.
I'm also uncomfortable with how much land and property is owned by foreign interests. Often by corporate entities hiding behind nominee directorships on offshore tax havens. That gives them power and control over us while remaining out of reach of our institutions.

As a country we've kind of told the world how to behave in a democratic country and the more I see and hear the more I see us slipping in to corrupt system/country. Its not what I want to see.
Personally I think Labour need go win Scotland back to stand a chance of being in government.
England is more Conservative and the SNP are doing a good job of keeping the Conservatives in power thus ensuring no independence for Scotland.
Labour can not do any deals with the SNP because it would strengthen the SNP and ironically the only way the SNP can stop the conservatives is to lose.
But everyones self serving nature probits this and labour can not afford an independent scotland so that is why I think they need to win scotland 1st.

All of that.
Although you very sensibly left out a few other states and only named the Russians and Saudis.

f*** 'em. What are they going to do ? Take the land and buildings away with them? If our Government has any stones at all they'd just seize it all for the common good.
Or - simply introduce punitive land / property taxes on all assets NOT owned by onshore, tax-paying entities with full transparency. Say, 10% of value p.a. Failure to pay means the asset is forfeit to the state.

Well, quite. But while they cannot take the physical assets away, they can exert considerable control and influence over commercial and residential tenancies, because current company law and landlord and tenant law does not provide any additional layers of protection.
Is today the day that starmer the jellyfish will refer himself for investigation over his rule breaking drinks during lockdown when NO ONE was allowed to socialise indoors. Will he follow the example of the PM or will he continue to show zero backbone over anything?
