I really hope that can be explained away by the kids being in there with covid, not because of covid. Otherwise that is really grim.

Shame you didn’t mention the bit where cases and hospitalisations are both down. And you still haven’t managed to break down the death figures.
And , in case you hadn’t realised , the death rates are published each day on the BBC news. No need for you to post them.
"Shame you didn't post what I wanted you to" is a pretty hilarious argument

But "Don't post stories that are reported elsewhere" might be the most thick thing you've posted. Which is saying something.
Sad individual. I didn’t say don’t post stories. I said that there is no need to report the death figures. I think even the most dense on hear can source those. So not quite as thick as you not reading my post correctly.
Why is there no need ?
So you can say theres no deaths ?

No. Not at all. I simply want context . We know there are deaths. We know there will be deaths in the future. This is about keeping this latest variant in context and finally acknowledging that it’s severity has been grossly overplayed. I understood the need for caution and happily it hasn’t developed as severely as the Scientists first feared , even though all the initial evidence pointed to that being the case

Hi George,
Please could you send the link or post the data you found that shows deaths are down and hospitalisations are down in the UK.
I want to share the good news, but I can't find it? Like you, I am using the first dates that Omicron was first discovered as the reference point.
I can see where cases are reported in the UK as down over the last 7 days, but they are still at a much higher level than early November 21, hopefully that trend will continue so that hospitalisations and deaths follow and decrease quickly to take the pressure off the NHS, hospitality, logistics etc.
TIA

its severity if overplayed because previous variants were drastically underplayed ! Even a simpleton like you understands that? Then again it is YOU !!

They would be higher than the case numbers in early November. Omicron hadn’t been diagnosed at that point.

Please could you post or provide the link to the data with lower numbers and trend of deaths and hospitalisations with Omicron you quoted? I'm interested in actual numbers as being the good news.
