Think of all those anti vaxxers and climate change deniers who would consider voting for a political party with Piers Corbyn as the deputy leader, could be as much as 10% of the UK population !E10EU wrote: ↑Mon Jan 10, 2022 1:21 pmThat really is a very silly thing to say. Hardly surprising Corbyn's camp are briefing he'll start his own party to split the Labour vote the day after it was suggested he wouldn't be allowed to stand under Labour at the next election
It's all a game

With Piers Corbyn as deputy leader, a climate change denier and anti vaxxer, might they get your vote ?

Re: Corbyn to set up his own political party
A Jeremy Party would be hard pressed to get 5% of the Uk national vote, they might get a few protest seats in London and some of the English inner cities, wouldn't think his party would get that many votes in Wales or ''Scotchland''Max B Gold wrote: ↑Mon Jan 10, 2022 8:37 pmA game in which neither side can back down from.Currywurst and Chips wrote: ↑Mon Jan 10, 2022 8:14 pm Hardly surprising Corbyn's camp are briefing he'll start his own party to split the Labour vote the day after it was suggested he wouldn't be allowed to stand under Labour at the next election

Re: Corbyn to set up his own political party
Jeremy Corbyn put Starmer in his shadow cabinet, and all the time, the b*stard was plotting to take over and banish Jeremy from the party,
If Jeremy did start another party, he wouldnt take any seats, apart from his own in Islington north, but over 20 or 30 years the party might gain a lot more voters, as people finally become disillusioned with capitalism, and how its robbing them to give the rich even more.
Regardless, for the sake of democracy, we need an alternative to the centre right Labour party, and the extreme right Conservative party

Re: Corbyn to set up his own political party
Caroline Lucas so often is the voice of sanity when most of the others are posturing for party political manipulation, especially now that Starmer has made Labour another party to compete for the Right and Brexiteer vote. His posing with the Union flag is just laughable.Jack wrote: ↑Mon Jan 10, 2022 9:30 pm Jeremy Corbyn put Starmer in his shadow cabinet, and all the time, the b*stard was plotting to take over and banish Jeremy from the party,

Re: Corbyn to set up his own political party
My politics are unapologetically centre-ist but I like Jezza, in the same way I liked Tony Benn. They are/were contrarian to centreist views and both committed and sensible in their approach to airing them. Neither would have been, nor were any good in a leadership capacity. Jezza wasn't 5 years ago and would not be tomorrow - and I think he is smart enough to know that. I'd prefer him to influence the labour movement into putting more of his views into their policy - not adopting them wholesale - because I think it could make us a better society - and provide some real balance to some of the worst leadership & government I think I've witnessed in the last 35 years.

You realise of course the point, unless you are stupid, which I doubt, and are just trying to wind up. Not working. Used to your childish antics. I ignore them now. Bye.

An appropriate moment to remind you of the "Foe" function.

Nope and won’t be either. Oh and I’ve not been ill either. My immune system is good enough to beat this on its own, it’s been finally tuned over thousands of years to get to the point.Currywurst and Chips wrote: ↑Mon Jan 10, 2022 8:15 pmYou had yours yet?Thor wrote: ↑Mon Jan 10, 2022 8:11 pmBoth are committed anti vaxxers thats for sureRonnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Mon Jan 10, 2022 7:58 pm

Blimey, what's your name - Methuselah? Pretty sure you've previously said that you have had the jab(s) but regretted it? Here we go! Found on the Coronavirus thread.

I’ve been telling you all this for months. Here are the facts and finally a mainstream media has published them. It might be the daily mail, read it, take it in and realise we are being played on a massive scale.
Pfizer say our drug is 90% coverage then the USA firm says ours is 94.5% coverage then Pfizer say oh yeah we’ve re-evaluated ours and it’s 95% coverage. Wake up people, it’s lies.
All week long I’ve watched and listened to the mainstream media pumping out their propaganda saying you must take the vaccine, you must be inoculated, it’s being pushed to ridiculous levels on something no one knows what the long terms effects might be. They tell us it’s safe, does anyone remember thalidomide? Didn’t the government of the day push that one hard and tell the women it’s safe? What did history say about that?
I’m not against vaccinations, I’m fully vaccinated as our my children however, we have knowledge and history to support what is pumped in our bodies. Anyone got a vaccination for Aids? Or SARS? Or Ebola? And so on? It’s been said on here by others it takes years to find a vaccination and suddenly whilst I except money is being pumped in to find it we’ve gone hey presto and like a London bus they all come along at once, standby for the Oxford one in the next week or two.
