I've only been to 2 live baseball games in my life.
1st was around 1986 or so in Montreal at the Parc Des Olymiques - vs Toronto Maple leafs. A no-hitter. Got told off for lighting a cigarette in the stadium.
2nd was around 1988 or 89 at Fenway - forget who Red Sox were meant to be playing, cos all we did was watch the rain come down in stair-rods.
Still like the game, surprisingly. Would have liked to go to this series, but the ticket prices (on top of travel to get down there) were a bit crazy.
I saw more games at the Olympic Stadium than any other ground. I think the city of Montreal only finished paying for it about 10 years ago
Blue Jays not Maple Leafs though the Leafs are actually my hockey team

Been to the maple leaf gardens & the new building , was the A.C.C but theyve changed the name recently. Watched the blue jays beat up on the Orioles a few years back .
Gave kevin millar some stick that night , but he saw the Boston cap & through me a game ball .
Fair play to him .
Stop trying to be trendy, its as dull and boring as dishwater as is the NFL & Basketball. If you want to follow a proper all action game try Aussie Rules.

I've been to the site of the old Maple Leaf Gardens and done a tour of the Air Canada Centre as it was back then. Never seen a game there though. It's now called the Scotiabank Arena

Ahh ok, we'll tell the millions of people that enjoy it that they should stop watching because you find it boring.

Now 17-13 in the bottom of the 8th with one out. The Sox have two on so could cut the deficit further.

One of my sisters is now an adopted Torontonian, so always pick up a game of some kind when visiting .
Toronto just joined the city group to win 3 major north american sports championships
MLB NHL NBA ,
Doubt theyll ever get the grand slam with an NFL win , but you never know.

I loved it, really enjoyed the game and the three innings where the Yankees ripped them to shreds ultimately won them the game. Decent atmosphere although a little different to being in a US stadium.
Was surprised by the Johnny come lately all calling for the Sox’s, I was proudly shouting for the Yankees in an area surrounded by Boston fans. I will go again next year for sure.
I was talking to my friend in New York who was watching the game and I asked him what the commentators were saying and they were laughing at us singing sweet Caroline!
