Guess natural immunity from being infected is bollocks then and people should get vaccinated instead eh?

Re: Labour Watch
The petition against TB's extra special Honour bestowed upon him by the Queen has now got over a million signatures.
https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/ ... 37ae990f41
But Starmer thinks that Tony B. is a very successful leader and deserves the award (but Johnson does not).
Starmer's leadership is supported by Tony B. and he has hired B's former major advisers to help him get into the top job.
A wise move or is Starmer getting himself tarnished by 'backing the wrong horse'?

Re: Labour Watch
Blair needs to judged on his whole time as PM and not on one controversial issue where many think he screwed up. Largely with the benefit of hindsight and even then the situation is not as clear as some suggest.
On that basis Blair in my opinion did a very good job. A job that was, at the time, considered good as the elections showed. Probably in the top 2 in our recent history.
Wish he was leading Labour now. It would be him and not Boris as PM.

Re: Labour Watch
And there me thinking his Government was responsible for getting the human rights act enshrined in law in the U.K. part of a manifesto pledge in 87.

Re: Labour Watch
In politics sometimes you have to deal with people whose values differ from yours in order to make progress. Politicians of all colours do this. Don’t mean you agree with them. Can mean you are trying to understand them and maybe change their views.
Routine.
Routine.

Re: Labour Watch
Apologies, the memory isn’t quite what is was. Googled it and it was 97 of course. It was TB and it was him who introduced it having put it into the Labour manifesto.Ronnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Sat Jan 08, 2022 12:47 pmSir Tony Blair wasn’t PM in 87, it was some other right wing c*nt.
So the point stands. And thanks for allowing me the opportunity to say it again.

If he did, I couldn’t find it. Just done a quick search and although there were 150 mentions of the term ‘Corbyn’ in his 2,000 posts, a ridiculous %age, none of them refer to terrorist sympathies.StillSpike wrote: ↑Sat Jan 08, 2022 2:01 pmPretty sure you called Corbyn a terrorist sympathiser at some point

Re: Labour Watch
Despite all the evidence and Chilcot's powerful conclusion, 'Blair' still maintains he did the right thing.
