The US allows an appeal , surely they can challenge a verdict untill she loses again ? well her family anyway ? Then the beeb is entitled to cover it surely ?

Is it because the ‘Rochdale Ring’ aren’t members of The British Royal Family?

He will be fine. He has money and bags of info on others. Maxwell will have her family threatened to keep quiet and then offered, which I expect Epstein was, a way out by being taken out.

Re: Prince Andrew
Andrew will probably pay the right people, a lot of money, and all this will go away.
Thats the usual way, very powerful people, get away with almost everything.
After he's done that, we will be told a technical issue has been found which has prevented Andrew from being arrested etc etc

Re: Prince Andrew
How did you come to that conclusion? The papers from 2009 have been unsealed and made public, so Virginia Giuffre's lawyers have got what they want and Andrew's lot are not happy. The case can go ahead.

Don't know what the Judge's decision will be ...
but for me nothing will reduce 'feeling sick' on seeing to what extremes the privileged and Royals will go to place themselves above the rules for decency and accountability.

At some point, maybe today, maybe not today, Prince Andrew will 'get off'
The rich & powerful always do. The laws that apply to ordinary people dont apply to them, and they know it.
One of my dearest wishes for 2022, is that I see Andrew in the dock, at a court somewhere, but I know, that will never happen

Re: Prince Andrew
it doesnt seem like there is much wiggle room left. be a brave judge to throw it out & allow her challenge to continue .soloman wrote: ↑Tue Jan 04, 2022 11:36 amSounds like she sold her sole and her rights !tuffers#1 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 03, 2022 10:24 pmbecause the 500k she got had conditions we will se tomorrow if the judge says yay or nay to carrying on .The Mindsweep wrote: ↑Mon Jan 03, 2022 9:53 pm

You're right it won't happen. Somehow he'll get off it and we all know it.Jack wrote: ↑Tue Jan 04, 2022 9:54 am At some point, maybe today, maybe not today, Prince Andrew will 'get off'

Re: Prince Andrew
Seems like there's a fair bit to me. She had an agreement with Epstein but the part that extends that to anyone else for anything else at anytime seems to be on very dodgy ground. If constructs like that are allowed to stand then people can just write their own get-out-of-jail cards for all their dodgy mates.

Re: Prince Andrew
are you talking about the official secrets act ? do try to keep to the subject, she signed an agreement to make her reasonably rich, if she wanted more she should have held out longer or got better legal representation. Make no mistake Andrew is thoroughly entangled , but she has given him a way out. lets see what the judge does later .o-no wrote: ↑Tue Jan 04, 2022 2:44 pmSeems like there's a fair bit to me. Re: Prince Andrew
The judge will give his verdict 'soon" but sees no reason not to move on to discovery. Not looking good for the Prince, good job he doesn't sweat as he would be dripping now. But still a change the judge can be "persuaded" to fall on the Prince's side.
