I have read countless emails about the ticket shambles at the Club. A mate tried to obtain 4 tickets for the Stoke game. He was on the phone for One hour and 45 minutes trying to obtain tickets - I witnessed every last second. Ridiculous. Gave up in the end. Do the club deserve fan loyalty?? I do not think so....

I think phoning the ticket office is a waste of time, as often the call goes unanswered.
I usually Email tickets@leytonorient.net and find the service much better.
I also think Nigel Travis heavily criticised our ticket selling service in our fans forum recently.

Did your mate even talk to someone?

I don't think the club can go on with the current situation where you have to email the club to get anything ticket related done. I don't know why the online system is such a mess.

Whoever takes over from Danny Macklin needs to start with this on his or her ‘to do ‘ list.
We should be doing everything possible to sell tickets and encourage fans .

I’ve tried several times this season to buy a ticket online, and have failed every single time. In the end I just had to turn up and join the queue and pay a few quid more. It’s laughably bad.

I believe the ticket office is closed until Saturday , you can buy tickets online though .

Sorry to hear of issues. Urge any fans with issues to contact us so we can address. We have resolved vast majority of issues but not all - we have had to operate with lower staff numbers over Christmas owing to Covid.

We urge fans who can to buy online and I’ve 80% of sales are going online.

We have a 1 working day email response to resolve issues - as always where I can help let me know. Thanks for patience - oh and that’s not why I am leaving - yet more conspiracy theories

It was nothing to worry about. I panicked for no reason. Apparently he's leaving to set up a new business in February. Good to get that one cleared up. ;)

I have a ST and dont do many away games as that is sad. So, i don't have to purchase many individual tickets. When I have done though, i find it will work but only if you dont want to do anything out of the ordinary such as choose a different seat or buy extras.

Not having to buy tickets online was my main reason for purchasing a season ticket.

Not an option for me I’m afraid, as I generally work on Saturdays. If it’s not too busy I can crack on and by 1pm I’ll know if I can get away by 2.45 and dash down to the ground. If I could buy a ticket online it’d make it easier. But I use an iPhone or iPad and the ticket page is almost unnavigable and even if I do get through the site’s bank authentication page doesn’t recognise my address and won’t let me purchase a ticket. It’s bizarre.

That's what I do. Send an email with phone number and I get a call back within a few hours, which ain't bad IMO considering how few backroom admin staff we have.

I don't think my new best friend Dan would mind me disclosing that even he accepts the ticketing arrangements need to improve. Dan's a great guy we are going to have a pint together in the New Year.
