Re: Coronavirus
I’m not a denier. For clarity. I have never knowingly had COVID. I have never shown symptoms of having covid. Whenever I have been required to test , it has always been negative. I am jabbed and boostered. I have never placed anyone at risk as I have never had COVID. There is no requirement to test everyday unless you work in a situation where you will place others at risk. If I tested positive having shown symptoms, of course I would isolate.Prestige Worldwide wrote: ↑Wed Dec 29, 2021 5:09 pm FYI, no idea if George knows Admin but wont hesitate to ban him if I feel he crosses the line. My response was in anger at Currywurst suggesting that we should all stay at home with colds and flu.

Re: Coronavirus
Exactly as stated by the South African doctor who first diagnosed Omicron. I simply passed on that information at the time. I am not a scientist and they were not my views.

We are simply travelling around in circles now. If you can find any views that were mine and mine alone , that were dangerous or lies then I will happily take the ban.

Really this boards anger should be directed at the following
1. The unvaccinated in the UK
2. The Chinese government for unleashing this
3. Foreign governments for failing to ensure that their citizens have the vaccine.
I’m vaccinated and boostered. Hardly the murderer that Tuffers claims me to be.

Re: Coronavirus
So you decided to ignore personal resonsibility by testing yourself every day & only testing when you were told to? I See . Hardly a way to live during such a contagious killer pandemic . Glad you grew a pair & decided to answer though.George M wrote: ↑Wed Dec 29, 2021 5:39 pmNobody wastuffers#1 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 29, 2021 5:24 pmVaccinated& boosted before the 100k deaths ?George M wrote: ↑Wed Dec 29, 2021 4:31 pm

Personally as much as I disagree with George, I don’t think he should be banned.

You're straw manning. Or is there a banning amnesty? In which case there are a couple of users I'd love to call fannies

Thats not right, but Omicron is kind of new isnt it so I will be a bit more forgiving when people post bollocks about it.Currywurst and Chips wrote: ↑Wed Dec 29, 2021 6:45 pm So lying and misinformation is OK

Re: Coronavirus
I mean, I'd suggest that because it's new and infecting upwards of 150k+ people a day it might be wise to suggest to people who habitually "post bollocks" or as it's commonly known, lie, that it isn't really on.... Instead of green lighting itPrestige Worldwide wrote: ↑Wed Dec 29, 2021 7:30 pmThats not right, but Omicron is kind of new isnt it so I will be a bit more forgiving when people post bollocks about it.Currywurst and Chips wrote: ↑Wed Dec 29, 2021 6:45 pm So lying and misinformation is OK

Re: Coronavirus
So Europe is increasing safety and distancing measures and quarantine requirements for travellers from the UK.
Scotland is instructing people to resume greater safety measures.
But in England we are told to carry on as usual, just have your party in the garden. Get your 3rd jab (even though there are reports that effectiveness is relatively short-lived). Mega hype from Johnson, it's your religious duty .... etc etc. "Don't worry about the new variant as it's impact is only mild" etc
I am wondering: how come that there is such big difference in instructions to the public?
Today Johnson claimed that 90% of those who are now in hospital with Covid are unvaccinated. I haven't seen such figure corroborated by serious medical sources But the underlying message is "Only the people who did not do as instructed by the government now end up in hospital, it's their own fault." So it absolves the government from responsibility and engenders a 'blame the victim' mentality in the public perception.
"Get tested" but they are now in short supply. If you can't be tested, you can't be diagnosed , so there is no evidence and you don't become a statistic.
Is this Johnson's latest master stroke? He has got his rabid anti lockdown MPs off his back, the MPs who were willing to bring him down?
And the public is left to trying to manage as best as they can, perhaps feeling that this government is now quite unconnected to them and maybe even uninterested?

Re: Coronavirus
The public knows what to do here - just look at the high street/ restaurants and pubs. More instructions from this poxy Government ain’t going to change anyones actions now. They’ve lost all trust and control - can’t stop a party now!
