Perhaps now is the time to review our viral security. It’s all well and good having a nuclear arsenal , but pointless if we can’t stop a foreign country introducing a deadly virus.
So. Why are we the world leaders in omicron?

I am all for the vaccine and have had all 3 jabs, but I can’t agree with forcing people to have it. But if those who can’t protect themselves have the vaccine, are they not protected to a fair degree.

The fact that anyone thinks they have a right to have any sort of opinion on other peoples medical choices is laughable. Unfortunately, that entitlement is where we are at. The world of yes or no, black or white, 1 or 0…vaccinated or not vaccinated with no nuance allowed.

Re: Coronavirus
I don’t disagree with that. My issue is with those who either deny Covid (won’t vax or mask) or who won’t vax for personal reasons (too numerous possibilities here) feeling that they should be allowed to mix with the rest of us who are taking precautions.Apple Wumble wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 9:03 am The fact that anyone thinks they have a right to have any sort of opinion on other peoples medical choices is laughable. Their beliefs should not endanger others. However, that concept is lost on most of the thicko’s who drone on about their “rights”.

Tuffers. I think it is you that is incorrect. Europe , at that time , had began to lockdown because of Delta. I can see they have announced a lockdown for the unvaccinated but can’t see if that was to tackle their delta problems or Omicron. Either way they didn’t act any quicker than us

Re: Coronavirus
When getting my booster last week, the nurse was telling me about the guy who was on the door welcoming in the folk (they're using an empty store that used to be Marks and Spencers). She was telling me that he'd just the day before taken a boot in the balls from one of the anti-vaxx crowd who've taken to protesting outside (they seem to be fellow travellers to the wing-nut pro-lifers in America protesting outside abortion clinics).
fannies the lot of them.

I don't have any tattoos, but I might be tempted to get Prof. Chris' lovely round head as my first. He's great.
