Re: Labour Watch
Over 100 Labour MP’s have called for Williamson to be kicked out the party for good. So max please do tell us that they are all wrong to call for this action. Personally I think the actions of some on here in relation to this is shameful and embarrassing.
Then to top it all steptoe has the lowest approval rating of any opposition leader in history, so just when you think it can’t get any worse, it does. He is a weak leader, he is devoid of ideas or at least any he really wants to share with us.
Embarrassing, taxi for steptoe.

Re: Labour Watch
First of all, why do you call corbyn Steptoe? Everytime I see him on PQT he's wearing a smart suit, crisp white shirt and tie, looking smart. You just make yourself look childish and pathetic
Now about Chris Williamson......what did he say, that was antisemitic? Ive gone over that speech many times, and still fail to see whats wrong.
This as most really know, is about trying to get rid of Corbyn, and nothing else
A home affairs committee stated theres no antisemitism in the Labour party a few months back
Most of the Labour mp's that signed that letter, are the usual suspects..right wing neo-liberals who hate Corbyn, plus the usual Labour Friends of Israel lot, who seem to be working for a foreign government, rather than their own country.
Go online and have a look at how many donations Tom Watson has received from wealthy pro Israel supporters...hundreds of thousands of pounds....its all online, and its disgraceful IMO
If you want racism, then look at the Tory parties record on Islamophobia.....Johnson saying Muslim women look like Bank robbers and letterboxes etc......thats the real racist party

I call him steptoe as he looks like him, nothing to do with his suit or tie, just his looks.

Re: Labour Watch
When I referred to this incident being embarrassing, amongst other things it was that a senior party member asked for Corbyn to show some leadership. Corbyns view, it was nothing to do with him.
What wonderful leadership.

What i find weird is that before Jeremey Corbyn became leader he was the only person who opposed ant-semitism.

Re: Labour Watch
So you'd prefer him to interfere with the party's established disciplinary procedure? Or you'd prefer him not to?
It's all a bit confusing what people expect of him about this. I thought the problem was that the complainants didn't like political interference in the process, so they were asking for the leader of the party to intervene (presumably so they could complain that the leader was interfering )?

Re: Labour Watch
What gets me Max is that as far as politicians go, I don’t much rely on what they say, more what they do. In the case of Corbyn he talks a good story in this area but his actions are woeful. As people say, actions speak louder than words. Or in his case lack of actions speak louder than words.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2019 4:46 pmWhat i find weird is that before Jeremey Corbyn became leader he was the only person who opposed ant-semitism.
It’s hard to defend his woeful efforts to erase anti-semitism from the party, not his success but his efforts. Abbott too is a closet racist. They make a good pair.

There is clearly dissatisfaction at the party’s ability to score regular own goals on a variety of subjects. Even John McDonnell is pushing for a strong Remain stance.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Sat Jun 29, 2019 9:07 amSo you are happy to believe there is no organised campaign to remove JC. Fine. Re: Labour Watch
Ita being reported that senior civil servants question Corbyns ability to lead his own party let alone the country. Serious concerns are being made at the highest level as he struggles to control his own party, they go on to say that his memory is not what it was and he keeps on forgetting things all the time.
It is also being spoken about by labour MP's that he suffered a mini stroke just recently, if thats true I wish him well.
Moves are also afoot to replace him at the conference with Rebecca Long-Bailey.
Make of the above what you will.

Re: Labour Watch
If Corbyn had to endure yet another vote, he would win hands down. The grassroots membership love him
All the smears have come from the right wing media, the tories & the right wing Pro Zionist Labour plp.
They or their donors have a lot to lose if Labour win power under Corbyn. Most people are beginning to wake up now, and can see a smear from a thousand yards away.
Corbyns health is fine.
If Bernie Sanders were to win the Democratic nomination, he will suddenly find he has to deal with much the same thing as Corbyn......those with money & power wont just give it up, thats for sure

I'm not stating facts just saying what's being reported and some of it will be bullshit of that there's no doubt. However, some of it will fall under the 'theres no smoke without fire" section.

See steptoe does talk sense, now and again. I couldn’t agree more with what he says, it’s just a shame he won’t speak up as leader of the opposition and tell it how it is. More people would back him if he did.

Re: Labour Watch
Labour has now polled its lowest ever vote share as per yougov.
Con 24% +2
Brexit 23% +1
Libs 20% +1
Lab 18% -2
When you have a party that cannot tell it’s arse from its elbow it’s not really surprising when these figures are presented. They are all at see with Brexit, they have a massive anti-semitisism problem, they want to whack home owners with a massive tax increase, they want to whack landlords hard, and they want to tax every gift you leave your children.
The people are speaking and Labour is not listening. Corbyn is in trouble and I think his time is coming to an end.

If there were to be a hung parliament, which seems likely, both of the LibDem leadership candidates say they will never enter any type of agreement with Labour while Corbyn is leader. So his time may well be up.
