Re: Coronavirus
As far as I can recall bojo spouted something about some appointments having to be cancelled, although I assume this isn’t urgent cancer appointments/treatments.
I do think it’s all a bit mental to make it harder to see a dr or nurse considering how difficult it is already. Luckily got my sons year jabs last week (about 4 weeks late) but struggled last year to get him his first ones with covid as an excuse.

All these people being hospitalised with common cold symptoms need to man the fu*k up.George wrote: ↑Mon Dec 13, 2021 9:03 amShortly before 8.30 this morning on Radio five and in an interview with a professor at UCL studying the impact of Omicron , he stated that symptoms reported so far are similar to the common cold and unlike delta. If you've found proof that the lie that Omricon is just like a cold then please present it and I'll retract
But you won't, because it was bollocks
You can listen to this on the BBC website I expect. Once you have , perhaps you will be man enough to apologise for the liar and dangerous comments.
If you have heard evidence to the contrary, please post it

Re: Coronavirus
Dunno.
But the cock will still vote Tory* next time around because they’re all the same and it’s the least worse option and doesn’t want to go back to the 70s etc etc
*Im assuming there isn’t a UKIP/GBNews candidate in his constituency.

Whilst that may be the experience of some people, if it was universal we wouldn't be seeing hospitalisations from itGeorge wrote: ↑Mon Dec 13, 2021 9:03 amShortly before 8.30 this morning on Radio five and in an interview with a professor at UCL studying the impact of Omicron , he stated that symptoms reported so far are similar to the common cold and unlike delta. Re: Coronavirus
Dunno but merely retracting the statement won't help.
He should have demanded that Johnson reverse the latesr policy of diverting medical staff from routine treatments to giving booster jabs. But then isn't that Catch 22. I don't expect a simpleton like Gilso to understand complex medical issues.
And why is nobody pulling him up for being rude and all shouting to the PM. He's doing his best in a difficult environment.

Not quite the apology I was expecting. I think it has always been accepted that with the numbers of predicted infections, there will be some hospitalisations.Currywurst and Chips wrote: ↑Mon Dec 13, 2021 10:29 amWhilst that may be the experience of some people, if it was universal we wouldn't be seeing hospitalisations from itGeorge wrote: ↑Mon Dec 13, 2021 9:03 amShortly before 8.30 this morning on Radio five and in an interview with a professor at UCL studying the impact of Omicron , he stated that symptoms reported so far are similar to the common cold and unlike delta. Yes. It’s a numbers game now. But we are in a better position now than with Delta because of our vaccination programme.Prestige Worldwide wrote: ↑Mon Dec 13, 2021 9:13 am What im reading is its a lot more transmissible, so it will infect more people and still result in a large number of hospitalisations and deaths.

Re: Coronavirus
People are still dying from COVID everyday. On average around 150. You are hearing of one death , presumed from Omicron , with no age or health conditions attached to it. No need to panic yet.

They just take issue with you calling something a cold that kills people.
