Sky read the rule out afterwards and that it's that all lapped cars need to overtake rather than just a few. So it's a bit weird they didn't apply their own rule correctly and leave themselves open to a challenge.

Not that I'm expecting or wanting it to be overturned for the record. Think they need to leave it and make sure something like this doesn't happen again.

yet no cars unlap in the same situation ever if it rains, bbc5 live race commentary said on air during the race. its all a it crooked.

appeal failed i suppose technically as they both stareted racing before all cars were unlapped they could both be disqualified ? Then Max is the champ anyway.
