Sky read the rule out afterwards and that it's that all lapped cars need to overtake rather than just a few. So it's a bit weird they didn't apply their own rule correctly and leave themselves open to a challenge.

Not that I'm expecting or wanting it to be overturned for the record. Think they need to leave it and make sure something like this doesn't happen again.

Formula 1 is an absolute joke.

Hamilton was 10 seconds ahead and then through no fault of his own, is forced to surrender his lead for a 1 lap shoot out with a driver who was 2nd best for the whole race. I don't care about rule changes - this makes the whole thing a mockery and is like a football match where a team is winning 3-0 and then someone collapses. But after medical attention, the game is re-started at 0-0 in the form of a penalty shoot out which the team losing 0-3 then wins to take the match. Ridiculous? No more so than the nonsense in Abu Dhabi. At least willy Turpin wore a mask when he robbed people. Hamilton was the model of graciousness in defeat. Legend
