Kit reveal today

Re: Kit reveal today
Blue is better.
No need for the stick on badge on that, the original version would have been good especially on the shorts.
Wonder what the other tone of colour will be on the white kit. Had to chuckle about the comment of the home kit looking like being run over by a tractor, couldn't see it at first, now can't unsee it.

Re: Kit reveal today
It's horrific.
The worst thing about the kits under Bazzas reign was the lack of consistency. A randomly designed red shirt from year to year, giving us no identity. This is following the exact same path. Although I accept the blue doesn't look as awful as the red and f*cking maroon home one.

To be fair, the quality was also a massive issue under Bazza with the orient leisure in house designs. I hope that won't be the case with these but the flappy arms and the tight neck line ain't encouraging.

The collars are horrible. On the concept kit they looked great. Overall, I won’t be wearing it in Benidorm this year.

Re: Kit reveal today
I like New Balance running shirts so if these have the same sort of fit and would be good for running in then I'll probably buy one.

Re: Kit reveal today
Boring, boring.. Red shirts, red shorts, red socks, so unimaginative! What about a bit of contrast for a change?
The blue outfit looks much better even though that's all one colour too.

Re: Kit reveal today
Reminds me a tiny bit of the 88-89 shirt .
That had the self diagonal stripe .
The patch badge will at least not disintegrate in washing machines so at least thats good.
Just looked at Historic kits & had a white background from 2002 - 2006 .
Really dont see why there is such a gripe about it.

They had the chance to give us a good identity and they have royally fcuked it up. The red one looks like a road traffic accident.

138 years of Football in East London & you think the new kit stops us from having a "GOOD IDENTITY " .Blackadder wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2019 6:31 pm They had the chance to give us a good identity and they have royally fcuked it up. The red one looks like a road traffic accident.

No, that's just a childish response instead of addressing the point.Article_50 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2019 7:19 pmSmendrick - slang - A foolish, bumbling, or incompetent person.Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2019 6:36 pmIn what way?Article_50 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2019 6:24 pm Anyone who buys that shirt has got more money than sense.
I rest my case.
I'm genuinely interested in why anyone who buys it has more money than sense. Perhaps you can explain?

Re: Kit reveal today
Disagree. A chevron is our identity. This is just a different take on it, and as usual with every single kit some will like it and some won't.Blackadder wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2019 6:31 pm They had the chance to give us a good identity and they have royally fcuked it up. I hope every new kit release includes some form of chevron theme.
Re: Kit reveal today
It would have been better had the club not pretended it was anything to do with tradition.... these patterns don't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as the other kits. Judged on their own, they are OK but the blue colours work much better than the red.
A clean white chevron on red shirt could look really good for next year, like a reverse of the commemorative kit. Place the club badge on the white chevron and we don't need a stick-on and then the badge can be seen clearly, for those who have suddenly developed colour-blindness.
Sure it won't be long before someone offers a free conversion service: get this season's Leyton Orient shirt for free by just bringing last season's one to us and we'll drive a muddy tractor over it.
