Disgusting, absolutely disgusting.
In years to come - it might be 10, it might be 50 - they’ll be widely recognised as being in the right.

I do also feel a bit suspicious regarding the groups true motives, there was also a quote from one of them in court saying that future protests could be violent.

Re: Insulate Britain M25 protest
The cult has now progressed into the martyrdom phase that they inevitably reach. The psychology behind throwing yourself at the jailer is not as far removed as throwing yourself on a sword as you may think.
They'll be increasingly doubling down on reinforcing beliefs and behavior amongst the true devout, and perceiving anyone else as not just infidels, but enemies to be destroyed. The process of radicalisation has begun.
And this young man has a lifetime ahead of him, now burdened by any CBR check.

They may well be right but nobody will recognise it in 10 years, never mind 50, as everyone will be dead, didn't you know? At least that's what 13 year old Jack said on the COP 26 discussions on the Jeremy Vine show last week.Ronnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 10:17 pmDisgusting, absolutely disgusting.

Re: Insulate Britain M25 protest
Maybe we can get a few protesters to blockade the prison gate. People should serve the sentence given by law sort of thing. If that happened they would be hacked off. I doubt they would applaud the protesters.

Or can’t be bothered. You’re confusing we with someone who gives a sh*t about people who play silly buggers. So long as I post under DOhnut people can do what they like after that. Sort of subtle difference. Maybe too much for you.tuffers#1 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 18, 2021 9:43 pmBrains enough to change the name ofF*ck the Planet wrote: ↑Thu Nov 18, 2021 9:39 pmI’d enter into a debate but you just don’t have the brains. Re: Insulate Britain M25 protest
Can we not get these people to glue themselves to our defending goalposts at 4pm on a Saturday? They get to protest to a larger audience and we get a better chance of not conceding a late goal.

I’ve no issue with people protesting, even sympathetic to their cause. It’s how these self righteous idiots go about it that pisses me off. 3-6 months. Make it 24 months with no early release. That ambulance, car, fire engine they stop may cost someone their lives. The wankers.

I think PW is trying to insinuate that only white people care about the planet. He makes me sick.

Tim Speers has mastered the serial killer look. James Thomas' efforts to pull of the receding-yet-still-long-haired look is arguably braver than anything he's done on the motorway.
