Average Attendances 2021/22

Post by Bergen »

https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/leag ... ttendances

Forest Green Rovers average in 2019/20 was around 2550, this season it`s 2412.

Bradford Citys attendance is better than Championship clubs like Birmingham City, QPR and Blackburn. Very impressive.

Do Bradford still do that ridiculous season ticket for £10 or whatever it was?

5,000 ain’t bad and we’re about where you’d expect us to be based on names. Hartlepool is he biggest surprise, obviously the town has been revitalised of late.

It's got a big Wetherspoons. What more does a town need to put it on the map. Mind you when we entered it a few years back there was a scap going on in the corner.

Anyway Keith let the Tories win the parliamentary seat and the town will soon be levelled up.

There was an attendance of 2119 at today's Salford Crewe game. Crewe brought 787 fans (37% of the crowd).

There's only one word that can be used to describe Salford City and I'd be banned if I used it

With such low attendances how are Salford able to afford such a huge wage bill? About £55k per week with top earners on £4.5k per week?
I thought there was a rule about 60% of gate receipts or something like that.

Isn't the "fair play" part concerned with a % of income? Not just gate receipts? Directors' loans cannot be counted as income but investments and gifts can. I assume the owners at Salford invest with no view to getting their money back unless the club makes the required profit. Teague wrote off a considerable investment in LOFC in order to avoid the club having debts and capping its wage budget.
