Re: The Queen watch
Apparently she has ridden a horse in two months due to feeling some discomfort.
She's ninety-f*cking-five and still riding horses!

Re: The Queen watch
Being involved in COP26 as Head of the hosting nation sounds very challenging at the best of times but must be very difficult when the country is being led by an oaf and liar whose actions have diminished the UKs standing in the world. A ceremonial wreath laying is much more the thing for her to be part of and that's entirely fitting to her age and of no disrespect to her.

You can't even pay respects or pay her a compliment without your out poring of hatred of any Tory politician being included in your post. Blimey!
There was me being respectful to the Queen. Unlike 'Type high' I had not mentioned the Tories.

She will grit her teeth and do her utmost to outlive The Prince of Wales. It will keep her going. She has the Nation's best interests foremost in her mind. Keep going Ma'am!

Charles has a big gob on him. He has a tendency to do and say things that even irritate middle England. She is right to think of him as a risk to the future of the monarchy.

Your words "the country is being led by an oaf and liar whose actions have diminished the UKs standing in the world." A Conservative Government, and you think that's respectfulE10EU wrote: ↑Sat Oct 30, 2021 2:18 amType high wrote: ↑Sat Oct 30, 2021 1:50 amYou can't even pay respects or pay her a compliment without your out poring of hatred of any Tory politician being included in your post. God save the queen.
Even ignoring what she represents, she’s as good at that job as anyone ever has been. Her grandson might be good at it too, but not because who his father is.

I would say yes, you think not, a healthy discourse without venom, bad language, and insult, for which I thank you.

Re: The Queen watch
From the moment it came to power, as nearly all governments do, one way or other. however, the issue was highjacking a supposed compliment to the Queen and using it as a platform to indulge in his normal anti-Tory, Boris rhetoric. That shows disrespect as you well knowcockhat wrote: ↑Sat Oct 30, 2021 1:22 pmSince when have this government earned respect?

Re: The Queen watch
It's a national trait to disrespect politicians in this country regardless of any achievements for some people though they refuse as a matter of course to see or pay a compliment to any ruling party
