Re: New Balance
It all looks a bit cheap and basic eh?
and that’s the gear they’ve chosen to preview the rest of range with.
Hopefully the kits a bit better

Not just Orient I’ve always felt football teams shirts shorts hoodies etc are just a complete and utter rip off
Re: New Balance
Yeah, the badge looks like an afterthought really, like a budget version of the kit. The Nike ones looked better even though they were generic templates.
Maybe we are too small to justify it. Liverpool don't have a stick-on badge on their training kits.

Danny Macklin, CEO, commented, “We are delighted to launch a taster of our range of New Balance training and leisurewear. When working on the designs we wanted to bring the uniqueness of the club crest to the forefront and have placed it on a white background to help achieve that.

He commented on Twitter that the badge was his decision because the 'current version easily washes off'.CreamofSumYungGai wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2019 8:06 pm Danny Macklin, CEO, commented, “We are delighted to launch a taster of our range of New Balance training and leisurewear. I can't ever recall that being a thing.
Re: New Balance
Also that it is 'lost' when red on red.
Haven't we been red on red for about 2 decades now (the only time we were not was with the Matchroom/Pokermillion, and the badge was not good then as well).
The best shirt for me in recent times was the Avec chevron one last season, which I think got universal approval. That was red on red as well.

More likely to have AVEC training gear. Most of the Nike kit seems to have goneCreamofSumYungGai wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2019 8:07 pm Hope they’ve got some of the Nike training kit left on sale.

Useful. I often wondered what the crest looked like. Now I can see it. Didn’t realise it was so tacky.CreamofSumYungGai wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2019 8:06 pm Danny Macklin, CEO, commented, “We are delighted to launch a taster of our range of New Balance training and leisurewear. Re: New Balance
The recent shirt badges do look very cheap, nothing like the quality of the sewn-in ones from a few years back. Not sure placing the badge on a splodge of white background is the answer though.eagwgw wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2019 8:18 pmHe commented on Twitter that the badge was his decision because the 'current version easily washes off'.CreamofSumYungGai wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2019 8:06 pm Danny Macklin, CEO, commented, “We are delighted to launch a taster of our range of New Balance training and leisurewear. Re: New Balance
I always liked the simple dragon (pre-Wyvern) on the 70s red shirt. Not sure why the whole crest has to be on a shirt. In 1970s, Arsenal had a cannon, Chelsea had a lion, Spurs had a cock, Wolves had a wolf, Liverpool had a bird and dirty Leeds had a fcuking smiley face!dOh Nut wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2019 10:26 pmUseful.
