Re: Tory Watch
That’s because I don’t make my mind up until the election. Loved Blair and Thatcher. Unlike last time when I hated Corbyn and Boris. Don’t actually mind Starmer.
For the record I’ve voted Labour more than Conservative. Not my fault the Labour Party in recent times has been crap. The Tories a tad less so.
Very much left of centre.

Never had an alias. Even when I came back as a newbie following a stupid, infantile Id change by the mods I made it clear who I was. Use the same name on both forums. Do t see the point of an alias.

You can’t blame Johnson for every death. He could have done things better, but thousands would still have died

Hilarious. An irrelevant waste of space calling me irrelevant. I’m here to stop you spouting crap about the Labour Party. Some balance. We live in a democracy. We can all have a view.
Blair is a war criminal and a tax avoider. Dispute it all you like. Its a fact. Remember facts. You always insist on them

1 . Blair led us , following his muppet American mates , into an illegal war. It was not sanctioned by the UN. Therefore any actions taken during that war that led to civilian deaths are regarded as war crimestuffers#1 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 04, 2021 8:02 pmYes indeed i do demand FACTS & as Yet in numerous discussions on differing sybjectsGeorge wrote: ↑Mon Oct 04, 2021 7:58 pmHilarious. Ok. So that everyone is clear on this
1 You are perfectly happy with our country entering a war that has no UN backing. In essence an illegal action.
2. It is perfectly acceptable for anyone to use loopholes in the law to make huge tax savings.
A simple yes or no will do.

If we are talking about Blair and tax savings the people he bought the property from were the perpetrators of the original Stamp Duty avoidance.George wrote: ↑Tue Oct 05, 2021 4:21 pm Tuffers

When he made the property acquisition he would not have been given much choice other than to buy the shares in the offshore company who owned the property.
Not sure what happened next. However, what I can say of Blair was that he is conscious of his reputation and not getting embroiled in tax avoidance.
He's less conscious about 1 million Iraqi deaths and illegal wars though. That much I know.

Yes , anything to do with offshore companies smells dodgy though always. They are set up to take advantage of tax loopholes. Best avoided by anyone in high places I would have thought.

Re: Tory Watch
Thanks for the explanation max.
Maybe George will now go after the other other tories that have actually used these offshore shenanigans for themselves, the likes of Cameron and Sunak and others.
