Should have been doing it but picked up an injury at the end of July and still only able to run relatively short distances at a much slower pace.

The virtual marathon will be happening again this year so look out for people running on the streets.

Does taking part in a Virtual Marathon mean that you pretend to be Mo Farah and run it on a computer monitor in under 2 hours ?

Shouldn't affect me however there is considerable faff in having to drop anything you want afterwards to the Expo this week. Whatever you leave the house with on Sunday you are stuck with! Also got to do lateral flow tests etc....

Is it true that runners are only allowed one supporter on the course?

This year, we’re asking you to invite only one supporter to come along and watch in person. Spectators are asked to avoid gathering in large numbers, and if an area is busy, find another place to watch the event. Our stewards will ask spectators to move on if areas become crowded. Thank you for your understanding.

Good luck mate. I did it in 2019 & the best advise anyone gave me was to buy decent running socks. They cost me £15 but it was the best £15 iv ever spent.

On the subject of clothing, will you be wearing an O's shirt? If not, I've a nice blue and white shirt I could lend you?

Did a few 1/2's a few years back when I could dedicate the time to the training.

Couldn't agree more about the socks and trainers.

Good luck. Hope a bit of rain doesn't bother ya - the forecast isn't lovely
Shouldn't affect me however there is considerable faff in having to drop anything you want afterwards to the Expo this week. Whatever you leave the house with on Sunday you are stuck with! Also got to do lateral flow tests etc....
Rain held off. How did it go?

Epic time, I need to get over and do it one year, would be an hour slower than that though!
