Re: Would You Vote For a Party Whos main policy was rejoin the EU?
I'd be surprised if it's an option (rejoining the EU that is.) We've been a total pain in the the nuts since the day we joined in 74. I would imagine they're sitting in Brussels enjoying watching our incompetent travesty of a govt flounder from one crisis to another. It's probably a bit like the feeling that you get at a party after the boring drunk Hammers fan has been thrown out.

I say, it sounds like your natural Party would be the Tories. They all seem to share your attitude.

I know, I just wish we could all learn from Angela Rayners attitude.

I say " ? Don't understand. I don't belong to any Political Party. Have always voted Labour. But since Worzel Gummidge Mark II took over, became disillusioned. Sir K ( despite his Title ) doesn't cut the mustard for me. It's not just policies it is also about presentation.

Yes - as things stand we are cutting ourselves off and putting up trade barriers up between ourselves and the EU. This is one of the largest economies in the world and it is right on our door-step. We are a trading nation. We are going to get poorer and poorer. It is madness.

I was a remainer, but even I didnt think Brexit would be this bad. things are truly terrible, and i canr see things getting much better.
I would vote for any party that would open negotiations to get us back in the EU

It’s split like the referendum. Who would have thought it! Nobody has changed their mind.

Seriously? You wouldn't even look at their stances on other things? So if they decided they'd shut down the NHS and remove the social safety net and old age pensions, as well as applying to rejoin the EU, or maybe increase Income Tax to 50% on all earnings and double the size of the welfare state (or the Army) then you'd vote for them purely on their desire to get back into the EU?
That's a bit of an odd stance, isn't it? (and I voted remain and still think the hard Johnson Brexit that we're lumbered with is a disaster)
Edit - On reflection, I suppose there were plenty of people who voted Tory last time round exclusively on Brexit, despite Tory policies otherwise being to their general detriment. And that, I guess, was the point of the whole exercise.

Don't worry, everyone. That Lexit should be along any minute now to make it all worthwhile.
Right?
Yeah?
