Harsh red. Missed our best chance and Mansfield save right at the very end , Archibald I think? Strange to highlights and not include the best highlight of the game.

Re: Highlights v Mansfield
I’d like to see our first penalty shout from the 1st half.
I can understand the ref maybe not having a clear view, but it was right in front of the Assistant who must have seen it.
The shirt pulling was the thing that annoyed me. Smith’s shirt was being pulled time after time.

Re: Highlights v Mansfield
I was six rows back in the East Stand very close to the incident, the referee and linesman clearly saw the hand ball. It was sheer incompetence that a penalty wasn't given. The referee should never be allowed to officiate againCheshunto wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 4:23 pm I’d like to see our first penalty shout from the 1st half.

The ups and down of a striker, Ruel scores a ''Worldie'' a few weeks ago then in this game, misses a sitter near the end .

Re: Highlights v Mansfield
The referee looked straight to the linesman for the handball shout, the linesman clearly patted his chest indicating that’s where the ball hit, to me it looked like his arm but I wasn’t at the beat angle.

Should of scored but if was an awkward height might have gone for it on the volley, it was the chance we had been waiting for.Sid Bishop wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 7:33 pm The ups and down of a striker, Ruel scores a ''Worldie'' a few weeks ago then in this game, misses a sitter near the end .

Just watched it back again, absolute quality from Archibald to get their bloke sent off.
Ruel would score that chance 4 times out of 5. It was at him rather than ahead of him which made it awkward but still.
