Gavin Massey
Ex Os and a very good player who did the business for his team today.
Wigan were so lucky to pick him up for free when he left us after our last disastrous season in the Football League.
Gavin Massey scored twice as 10-man Wigan dented Leeds United's automatic promotion hopes by coming from behind to win at Elland Road. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47904094

Re: Gavin Massey
Not a terrible player, did particularly well towards the end, but how on earth is he now playing Championship football? Same agent as Legzdins?

Re: Gavin Massey
Well Massey must be good enough to play at that level, Wigan down to ten men and he scores their two goals to beat promotion contenders Leeds Utd !!Prestige Worldwide wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2019 9:05 pm Not a terrible player, did particularly well towards the end, but how on earth is he now playing Championship football? Re: Gavin Massey
Don't think any player should be judged by his time with us during that car crash year. Played a big part in Wigan getting into the Championship and would have played more often if he hadn't missed the first part of this season. Obviously a solid second tier player with other teams looking to sign him next season.Prestige Worldwide wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2019 9:05 pm Not a terrible player, did particularly well towards the end, but how on earth is he now playing Championship football? Re: Gavin Massey
Exactly. You'd be as well to ask how he ended up playing for a struggling League 2 side. It was always clear he was much better than that - well, if one could see past the horror of what was happening more generally.jamespevans wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2019 10:07 pmDon't think any player should be judged by his time with us during that car crash year.
