Re: Manager Merry Go Round
I would be amazed if Ross got the job, he might know some of the players but he knew them at the O’s and played appalling football. To be honest I doubt if he will ever get offered a Managers job in the rest of his professional career, possibly coach at non league level.

Re: Manager Merry Go Round
Whilst Ross's record at Orient was not great, the majority of players he inherited came from and have subsequently returned to the National League. He kept them comfortably in League 2. Not sure what more people expected from the players he had other than to get beat playing attacking football.

Even if he did get the budget and freedom that Jackett’s getting , I wouldn't want him as Manager. His boring, negative style of play and the fact that he hasn’t got a clue in my opinion will stop him ever getting a job again as a Manager with any club that has real ambition.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Wed Sep 22, 2021 11:22 am If only Ross had been allowed the budget and freedom that Jackets getting.

Yes the very same who helped recruit Justin Edinburgh and Kenny Jacket and also was responsible for the recruitment of failures in Steve Davis, Carl Fletcher and Ross Embleton on two separate occasions.Chelmsford Swimmer wrote: ↑Wed Sep 22, 2021 6:33 pmWould that be the same DOF who recruited Justin Edinburgh And Kenny Jackett ?PoundhillO wrote: ↑Wed Sep 22, 2021 6:01 pm Only one reason the clubs DOF, who in my opinion should have resigned.

Re: Manager Merry Go Round
Oh, can you go easy on Ling, please, PoundhillO, he is simply working his way through his contacts book. D is for Davis, E is for Edinburgh then Embleton, F is for Fletcher. He missed G, H and I out before hitting J for Jobi and then Jackett. When Jackett leaves, and if Ling is still DoF, he may turn the page to the K section and we'll end up with Kewell.PoundhillO wrote: ↑Wed Sep 22, 2021 6:53 pmYes the very same who helped recruit Justin Edinburgh and Kenny Jacket and also was responsible for the recruitment of failures in Steve Davis, Carl Fletcher and Ross Embleton on two separate occasions.Chelmsford Swimmer wrote: ↑Wed Sep 22, 2021 6:33 pmWould that be the same DOF who recruited Justin Edinburgh And Kenny Jackett ?PoundhillO wrote: ↑Wed Sep 22, 2021 6:01 pm Only one reason the clubs DOF, who in my opinion should have resigned.
