Emma Raducanu
Amazed there hasn't been a thread about this yet.
Emma Raducanu just became the first qualifier EVER to reach the final of a major tournament. Even more impressive, she hasn't lost a set, or even been taken to a tie-break.
She started the summer as the 10th ranked Brit.
I think we're seeing something pretty special here.

Re: Emma Raducanu
It is indeed incredible.
She faces another teen in the final (who was also unseeded) - first teen final since Hingis v Williams back in 1999.
Should be a thrilling final

Re: Emma Raducanu
I've watched all her matches and she just works every opponent out. Obviously a very intelligent young lady with her A*'s in her recent A levels. Totally focused on each point, her opponent can never relax. She has completely destroyed each experienced player she has played and you can see the hopelessness on their faces as it was happening.

Nice to have a decent tennis player for a change
Interesting that all our female players that have done something these last few years are all born outside the UK. Raducanu, Watson, Konta, Robson. Take that Farage!

How is she British?
Born in Canada
Father Romanian
Mother Chinese
So she's multinational, but none of its British.

Everybody who is entitled to hold a British passport and gains it is BRITISH.
Origins and ethnicity really is irrelevant to this.
