Re: Koroma to Huddersfield Town (Rumour)
Bit gutted to see him go. There's a player in there, particularly as he's been Orient all his life. But I am alone in thinking he was a bit overrated?
Had his brilliant moments, majority coming last season but he could also go missing for huge spells. It's been great watching him develop, when he first came into the side, I thought he was probably the most infuriating forward player I'd seen in ages because he constantly made poor decisions even though you could see there was a half decent player in there. Edinburgh nurtured his confidence and he'll turn into a good player no doubt, but I always got the sense that Josh bought into the hype around him and I perhaps don't think he's quite as good as he thinks he is. Still extremely raw and probably on balance had more off games for us than on.

Last Christmas he played with his heart,
But come mid June, he did depart.

If Barnet are interested we should offer a fee plus Alabi for Fonguck.

I’ve heard Barnet would be prepared to let Fonguck go for £200k.Buddy Manucci wrote: ↑Sat Jun 22, 2019 9:28 pm If Barnet are interested we should offer a fee plus Alabi for Fonguck.
Or Alabi plus £300k.

gshaw wrote: ↑Sat Jun 22, 2019 11:55 amWe'll see, I've got a funny feeling Alabi will be brought back into the fold to cover one of these gaps. Something along the lines of "he's trained really well over pre-season, it's just like having a new signing"Red_Army wrote: ↑Sat Jun 22, 2019 11:49 amRelax. We're obviously not going to go into the season with just these striking options.gshaw wrote: ↑Sat Jun 22, 2019 11:48 am
Which makes retaining Harrold look a bad move now imo. With Bonne and Koroma here we could afford the luxury of a 20-minute player as a last resort. If he's now being seen as a main option that's a different story.
Sotiriou hasn't even started a game at NL level so relying on him as a viable option is also stretching it.
If Alibi is allowed to ever play for the O's again it will confirm that the owners have no real ambition of us every being promoted!

Alabi was never used in a way to maximise his strengths. Him and CW up front could scare a few defences.PoundhillO wrote: ↑Sun Jun 23, 2019 12:04 pm
