Quite funny how Patel is getting ever more demented with her 'fight against immigrants' while there are now UK business leaders pleading with the government to allow more foreigners to come here and give their labour to essential transport services, health care, catering, etc.

In terms of disrupting the gangs' business model, this would be effective. But, as Adz has said, you have to be prepared for the potential of mass drowning as a direct result of our actions.

I couldn't agree more. I'd like to add that there's a terrific restaurant in St Rafael, a bit expensive but still very nice.

Yes its hilarious watching the left back 'business leaders' in their calls for cheap exploitative foreign labour.E10EU wrote: ↑Thu Sep 09, 2021 1:30 am Quite funny how Patel is getting ever more demented with her 'fight against immigrants' while there are now UK business leaders pleading with the government to allow more foreigners to come here and give their labour to essential transport services, health care, catering, etc.

To be born an English man is to win the lottery of life. Was true when coined years ago and still true to day and always will be (Cecil Rhodes)Dunners wrote: ↑Wed Sep 08, 2021 4:13 pmYep, all true.Mistadobalina wrote: ↑Wed Sep 08, 2021 4:01 pm The restrictions on asylum seekers lives whilst they await a ruling on their case (this can take years) are already incredibly draconian.
We already chuck money at 3rd party countries in the name of encouraging 'legal' asylum applications, it looks like we'll escalate that further soon into full on Aussie style processing camps (you only need to do a bit of reading to understand how grim those places are, particularly when outsourced to perennial b*stard companies like serco). I don't know how much more punitive the UK state can get once those are introduced.
War, climate change and economic desperation are always going to be stronger pull factors that any punitive measures we can introduce to discourage people. The odd adjustment here and there will be made up many times over by the amount of displacement that is taking place globally right now. And it's worth bearing in mind that the overwhelming majority of refugees go to poorer countries less capable of receiving them. Colombia, Pakistan, turkey etc.
Most governments are predicting that immigration is going to increase substantially. People are going to want to come here for a variety of reasons, such as increased regional instability post-world order and as the effects of climate change take hold.
This will worry governments across Europe, including our own, as we've seen the impact and uncertainty this can create for domestic politics (yes, this is a Brexit comment).
A further problem is that other countries, who have an interest in a weakened-West, see this as an opportunity to sh*t-stir. And they are more than prepared, and ruthless enough, to exploit the situations migrants find themselves in for their own ends.
We have the likes of Putin getting his mate Lukashenko to import busloads of Iraqis into Belarus, and then running them at the Latvian border. The Moroccan government is doing the same at the borders of Ceuta and Melilla. Greece is erecting a border wall between it and Turkey because it knows full well that the Turkish government will try to exploit the situation. There are already border walls within continental Europe and some countries have now suspended Schengen.
We should thank our lucky stars we were fortunate enough to be born here. The coming decades for many people across other parts of the world look really grim.

Re: Migrants crossing the channel
Nobody has mentioned the security aspect of this. Most of, not all, but most of the migrants are men and most, if not all, are muslim (this is not
being racist it's merely a fact), and do we know who these people are? Some could be ISIS sleepers or belong to some other terrorist organisation.
There are many instances of people being allowed in to the country, only to get blown up, or other forms of terrorism by them sometime later.
You just don't know.

How many muslin terrorists have come into this country in dinghys and blown things up?Chicken Dhansak wrote: ↑Thu Sep 09, 2021 9:03 am Nobody has mentioned the security aspect of this. Most of, not all, but most of the migrants are men and most, if not all, are muslin (this is not

As I stated, you just don't know, and by the way, dinghy is the correct spelling of the word.

No automatic housing or benefits no legal status or right to employment, when discovered automatic deportation , no human rights act appeal no right of appeal asap to country of origin, if they have deliberately thrown away all proof of ID then use a DNA test to establish origin

That isn't how it works
But if we're going down the Jeremy Kyle route we could lie detector test people and ask them which country they are from

What are you hoping these DNA tests will uncover?
Asylum applicants have no right to work, housing or meaningful benefits. These numbers are also relatively very small. Why does it rile you so much?

They blew the dinghy up in first place. Some of the hot air spouted on here supporting mass immigration could assist them.Chicken Dhansak wrote: ↑Thu Sep 09, 2021 9:06 amRonnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Thu Sep 09, 2021 9:04 amHow many muslin terrorists have come into this country in dinghys and blown things up?Chicken Dhansak wrote: ↑Thu Sep 09, 2021 9:03 am Nobody has mentioned the security aspect of this. Re: Migrants crossing the channel
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
“Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!” cries she
With silent lips. “Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.

With silent lips. “Give me your tired, your poor,

Works for me
As I first thought, France just not willing to play ball. I cant say I blame them, why should they rescue so many who dont want to be in France and are putting themselves at risk? But more importantly, you also need the consent of the French to do it. Because as you turn the vessel back towards France, when it crosses the median line it has to be intercepted and rescued by the French, and it appears the French will simply not engage in this."

Unfortunate choice of words.Lucy Moreton from the ISU said she would be "very surprised" if the tactic ends up being used at all - calling it "dead in the water".

Patel is already paying France £55 Million to try and stop the flow. If all the costs of preventing refugees getting here were used to fund an orderly resettlement programme it probably wouldn't cost much more.

Build a wall in the channel along our territorial water and only allow boats with clearance through
And make France pay for it
And make France pay for it

Re: Migrants crossing the channel
Were the BLM protests not about racism in this country? The calls to defund the police? The removing of centuries old statues of ‘racists’? Even the the taking of the knee at sports events is about erasing racism. We even boo the national anthem of every team that visits Wembley. We must be one of the most racist countries in the world. No?Ronnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Thu Sep 09, 2021 9:02 amGo on then, give me some links as to why ornchurch believes this country is one of the most racist in the world.

Re: Migrants crossing the channel
It's important that we stop these sea crossings, because the All Lives Matter crowd are clearly worried that some of these migrants may drown.
