Likewise.

Paul Ross is older than me and Jonathan Ross is younger but my peer was Simon Ross who moved into TV production rather than presenting.
Don't forget Bobby Crush. I had a couple of his old reference books.
He lived in Canterbury Road Leyton, we used to go round and ask him to play footy with us but his Mum would always say he could not come out as he was ‘tickling his ivories’. He was a great piano player and played old tunes for the OAP’s in the Raglan Pub up the road with the other piano player John Lil went Leyton Grammar. They often went to Whipps Cross tea hut for a hot sausage and tea

I knew John Lils sister Janet, I had completely forgotten about him.

She went to Hornchurch Grammer and said Mike Oldfield was in her music class but she was better than him and she was better than his sister Sally ( I assume he did have a sister )

It may be true she was Grade 8 piano or whatever
Nope, liar is fine. Will you be changing your username any time soon to Anthem of Bitterman?

My Math teacher looked like Bryan Ferry but with a lot more dandruff.

Bet you Dury was always hitting pupils with his Rhythmn stick. I read his biography years ago. I remember thinking he was probably quite a difficult individual.

Maxy my current troll to any post I put on here -
My left wing Scottish follow of hope to nowhere that he would go

No to your uninteresting question I will not be changing my name atm and I just checked Oldfield data and it said he moved to Harold wood and went to Hornchurch Grammer and he is the same age as my darling not
So yep she must be correct - but I am overjoyed I never see her again unless I am dragged back to Essex from oz screaming ( I miss and like Essex but I just do want to be in the same hemisphere as her )- she can go to the Anus of Hell - but I ain't bitter I am relieved to be free actually maxy matey

Ooh I forget to mention Ian Dury was a teacher at my old school in Upminster. Gaynes after I had left
Clive Allen was at Gaynes but sadly after I had left, Guy by the name of Barry Diss had just left as well He had won the Essex inter schools cross country Running championship. My father was at school with the Actor Victor Madden, As for me my only claim to fame I was the last ever London based newspaper apprentice, and had worked for every newspaper in Fleet Street. I have also correctly predicted the winner of every English General Election since Super Mac, American ones didn't get Tricky Dickie

Debbie Russ aka ‘Tiger’ in The Double-Deckers kids TV show was in the 4th year at St Mary’s RC School in Walthamstow when I was in the first years.
I thinks she is nowadays an announcer on BBC Radio 4
