Hi George
It’s against the rules to have an alias. You think PW wouldn’t ban me?

There’s no way that whoever was behind characters like taking the mic/Gilso and Thor has simply left this place? No chance.

They’re here, somewhere.

No clues!

As it happens, I know George IRL and whilst I’ve not read all of his COVID posts (and I guess from reactions here that I’m likely to disagree with them), I can say that he’s a more than pleasant fellow who it’s always a pleasure to bump into when I do.

Obviously his identity will not be revealed.

Gilso’s still around AFAIK - Orient Hour?

They’re also likely to be on Mungos periodically reminding everyone that I’m a beloved aunt and that this place is the utter pits.

Cest la vie.

Thanks for the kind words Mr Administrator. The feeling is mutual.
I don’t expect everyone to agree with my views. Covid brings a variety of opinions and always provoke a variety of responses.

The amount of energy this board expends wondering whether one user with a made up name is also another user with a made up name is quite something.

Cases are on the rise again now - the impact of opening up no doubt coming into effect. Will be interesting to see how high they rise though and how quickly.

Case numbers have hovered between 25-30k for a few weeks now. It’s the trend that counts. Daily figures taken in isolation mean nothing

And the trend is that cases have been going up, as expected following relaxation of restrictions.

Relaxation of restrictions was almost 1 month ago . From what i can see , the trend is pretty flat. Nowhere near the 200,000 cases predicted as possible by scientists. Needs a little longer to say that cases are rising and are of concern

200,000 predicted by Scientists was done for a full re-opening of society .
Hence why it was pushed back from July 19th to August 19th .

What more is there to open to make any more difference. I have lost track of what is open and what isn’t.
