Considering we were I touch of the playoffs with clueless Ross in charge, it probably won’t take a lot to get promotion . Saying that, we aren’t a top 3 squad atm.

League Two is going to be tougher this season . It was a missed opportunity last season.

Looking forward to yours and other moaners reaction when we don't, youre running out of scapegoats.

And are they really moans if they all turn out to be correct? Not sure
Correct about what?
Jobi didn't do any better than Ross.
You can still blame it all on Martin Ling if we come up short this season.
Nah, I wouldn’t blame the bloke who’s job it is to bring in players to achieve the boards ambitions.
Purely out of curiosity, would you agree with most on here that the defence has been improved on last year - and if so, is that down to Martin Ling or Kenny Jackett?
Me personally, I have a golden rule. If anything works out well it's Jacketts doing, and if anything works out badly, it's Lings fault.
You won't go far wrong if you follow that

at least you're honest
Yep, I've always been honest my friend, not that it always goes down well in here

I dont know if we've improved the defence, in all honesty. On paper the players look like an upgrade, but time will tell. Not getting carried away with a few clean sheets in friendlies. Last season we actually had a relatively solid backline in terms of goals conceded but they rarely contributed going forward.
Either way, if the defence is an improvement then thats probably credit to both Kenny and Martin? I dont know exactly how they work, do you? Either way both have a level of responsibility for the club to achieve it's goals and if we don't achieve that then both will have to take some responsibility. If it goes well, the same applies.

No, I don't know either although Ling has said in the past that there are a number of people who have an input into transfers and (I assume) it's his job to sort out the negotiations. I make you right, though. It's a joint responsibility and not all Ling's fault when they get it wrong - as happens at every club.

I agree. Although if Kenny/the squad is a failure then they should both fall on their swords. We are set up better than we have been since 2014 and I can’t see any excuses for not getting out of this league.
