Because Dick is a very rude word and us prudes here at Mod-Towers blush at such language. We're much more comfortable with willy.

Just 'No'. Red is a colour associated with us since the very beginning - if we wish to retain a degree of heritage and history then red (and white) should always be the colour(s). Even in our first league season where we seemed to adopt the Italian flag as first choice shirt, red and white were part of that.

I can't remember where i saw it or whether its true but, Orient changed colours from Blue to red because at the time there were too many teams playing in Blue and the League offered a financial incentive to play in red.
In true Orient style we accepted the offer and the rest is history!

I always thought that changing to red and dropping 'Leyton ' was in preparation for our move to Basildon.

Red has pretty much been part of the kit from the start, except for the post war to 60s blue years ..........
