Re: Rocking All Over The World
As with much music, I think its what age group you come from. If you were not around in the era the group was starting out and performing, then quite often you may not like their music. Many young people like/ love RAP music, dont like it myself, but does not mean that my tastes are better then that of today youngsters who like their own era's music ! As to the music in question, ''Rocking All Over The World'' well of its time, a bit repetitive but its got a catchy ''Hook'' so its ok by me.

Re: Rocking All Over The World
The Status Quo version of Rocking All Over The World is actually a cover version, the song was written by John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival fame and recorded by him in 1975.

It's part of the clubs fabric, something not to be messed with or changed.

I don’t like Status Quo but I enjoy hearing this song and hope to hear it regularly after home games next season.

Re: Rocking All Over The World
Back in the early 90’s they tried to stop playing Taxi as the team ran out. I remember them playing ‘Simply the Best’ by Tina Turner. Everyone booed. Can’t remember the other songs they tried out but the experiment only lasted a few matches.

Re: Rocking All Over The World
It's really not though, is it? It's only a relatively recent addition. I'm with L7, it's a sh*t song and an embarassment, much the same way when Hearn tried to get Simply the Best as our walk out music.
Taxi is a totally different matter, going back years, even generations.

Good old Bazza with his razzamatazz ideas. Simply the Best by Tina and red carpet 'celebrity' walkouts by random page 3 stunnas and Eric Monster Hall and the like. Proper cringe.

Re: Rocking All Over The World
Try going to Anfield and telling them to stop playing "You'll never Walk alone" before the match, you wouldn't make it to the exit
