Definitely had the skill but as above often tried to beat one man too many. On the Boreham Wood forum their fans love him, he did best there - 30 goals in 58 games in two loan spells but that was the Conference South 7 years ago.

Don’t want to be obtuse, but this bloke was never the right Angol for us. He had an acute case of theatricity combined with ball skills of a eunuch

More likely to be his first game back & he gets ten minutes at the end

10 clubs in 10 years. Lots of people have seen something in him and thought they could get him to deliver. Every single one has failed.

Maybe it's simply because he's not as good as everybody thinks .Ronnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Wed Jun 23, 2021 9:37 am https://www.soccerbase.com/players/play ... r_id=65251

From what I saw, I thought there was a player in there. Hope it works out for him at Bradford.

The last Goal he scored for the Os was very good. Shame they let him go. Should have let Kenny see him and decide

The hardest two to replace is going to be Brophy and Wilkinson .Sixtiesman wrote: ↑Mon Jun 28, 2021 11:38 am The last Goal he scored for the Os was very good. Shame they let him go. Should have let Kenny see him and decide

Re: Angol signs for Bradford City
I agree. They knew a new manager was coming, yet they decided to get rid of several players without the new guy seeing them.Sixtiesman wrote: ↑Mon Jun 28, 2021 11:38 am The last Goal he scored for the Os was very good. Shame they let him go. Should have let Kenny see him and decide
Angol IMO, is a good player at this level, when played in his correct position, something we didnt do, but hes very injury prone
