I was in a pub in Kingston back in 2012 for the 10,000m final. Just watching it with a whole mix of people was something special, on the last lap people were just going mad and the atmosphere was just incredible. Strangers were hugging each other when he crossed the line, it was quite something. If you want to feel what it was like then go on YouTube and watch some of the fan footage from inside the stadium. Truly wonderful.
