Outcome this Season
The Os only have one Forward. I think they need a few more. Any News? It's a shame the existing ones didn't sign anew Contract Have we got enough experience to not go down?

Re: Outcome this Season
My completely irrational fear, (maybe not) is that KJ cannot bring the players in and will give up and walk.
See he didn’t last long at Rotherham and always wondered why. (The other smaller club he managed).

Re: Outcome this Season
He is probably on holiday as usual at the end of the season and thinks you pick up the best deals just before the season starts but I can’t see Kenny Jackett standing for that.I had expected at least two signings by the end of this week.Chicken Dhansak wrote: ↑Fri Jun 25, 2021 1:39 pmProbably.PoundhillO wrote: ↑Fri Jun 25, 2021 1:34 pmIs Martin Ling involved ?Chicken Dhansak wrote: ↑Fri Jun 25, 2021 1:20 pm We do seem to be very slow in our recruitment. I still can't believe DJ has gone and it'll be very difficult to replace him

Presume you mean DJ…….but anyway, does anybody know about Vigouroux ?? Is he staying……Is he going ??
Hopefully KJ has some decent strikers on their way to E10

Re: Outcome this Season
Five weeks Togo until the big kick off, I will wait until KJ has done all his pre season work before giving an opinion but it may all come down to the quality of strikers we bring in.

So in other words it sounds like the problem is with you and your expectations, not anything to do with the club.PoundhillO wrote: ↑Fri Jun 25, 2021 1:48 pmHe is probably on holiday as usual at the end of the season and thinks you pick up the best deals just before the season starts but I can’t see Kenny Jackett standing for that.I had expected at least two signings by the end of this week.

Re: Outcome this Season
I don't think it is irrational, had the same thought. At some point KJ and Ling will clash, which one will win out?Mylo Xyloto wrote: ↑Fri Jun 25, 2021 12:58 pm My completely irrational fear, (maybe not) is that KJ cannot bring the players in and will give up and walk.

Provided there's no drama along those lines I feel this season will be a "nearly" one with good entertainment along the way. The season after will be the one where the setup really delivers.

Re: Outcome this Season
Challenging for promotion and if we don't make a minimum of the play-offs (but preferably a promotion slot), IMO that'll be a disappointing result.
